Their tally of 25 points means they sit 5th in the table, two points away from 7th placed Ipswich and 4 points below the automatic promotion spots. They've finished 15th, 7th then 21st in the last three seasons. Since May 2024 they've had four managers...Tim Walter, Andy Dawson, Ruben Selles and now Sergej Jakirović. I assume they'll be hoping the manager changes will help them turn the tide, and return to the Premier League for the first time in 8 years...this makes me feel old, seems only the other day Hull were the talk of the town and were knocking on the door of a Champion League spot. As for us, after three losses in a row, we managed to stop the rot last time out, with a 0-0 draw to end a run of three losses. That run has seen us drop to 16th in the table, with 19 points from 15 games. I keep reminding myself that I had no massive expectations for this season, and that the brief very good spell we had was just a sign of our potential, but not sustainable given our squad, and lack of depth in the squad. I still have hope that Kone will begin hitting the back of the net on a more regular basis, and I reckon a few goals and his confidence will get the boost it needs and he'll do very well...time will tell. Team news and manager comments to go up when on the official, enjoy if you'll be at HQ for this one, and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Good work Dave. Yet another team who've beaten us more times than we have beaten them Time to level it up.
