Match Preview;
After yesterday's loss to a strong Blackburn side, we have little time to lick our wounds as we welcome Hull City to HQ on Tuesday evening. We welcome Hull as they seem to have turned a corner after an awful start to the season. After five games they'd yet to record a win, but, of course, they've won their last two, beating Stoke 1-3 then Cardiff 4-1. After Liam Rosenoir left them in the summer to manage Strasbourg, they appointed 48 year old Tim Walter as their new manager...a German manager who was sacked by Hamburger SV in February.
As for us, I watched the Blackburn game, and it only ever looked like it was going to go one way. Yes, we were away from home, and yes, they are a good side, but it would have been nice to at least look like we wanted to attack and put them under pressure, then the red card sealed the deal. Up against Hull, we must surely put out a side that will go and pressure them in the final third, and play for the win from the first kick. I'd love to see two out and out strikers, with Dembele, Varanne, Field and co getting forward to support Frey and surely Celar...who needs more that a two/three minute token appearance if he is going to get off the mark.
Team news and manager comments to go up when on the official, enjoy if you'll be at HQ, and as always...
...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
