    Match Preview;
Feeling slightly buoyed by our come back at West Brom, we now welcome 9th place Coventry City to Loftus Road. They have won one, lost one and drawn three of their last five. Their top scorer, and obvious main threat is Viktor Gyôkeres with 19 goals. Mark Robbins, their manager, has done an amazing job since taking over in 2017, leading them from League 2 to the Championship in 3 years, and getting them within 3 points of the playoffs at this stage of the season.

As for us, great comeback on Monday, as it looked like all hope was lost after WBA scored their second goal, on the 13th minute...but we showed great character and determination to come back to 2-2, and looked the more likely to win the game in the second half. Hope that is a turning point for Ainsworth to build on, and move the squad forward. I've just seen the highlights from Monday, as it wasn't available on QPR+, but from those it looked like the players really cared, which it hasn't looked like for a few games recently.

    Team News
QPR: Jake Clarke-Salter is out, but Tim Iroegbunam, Sinclair Armstrong and Tyler Roberts are pushing for returns.

Coventry City: Jamie Allen and Simon Moore are out but Ben Sheaf may return.

    Pre-match Talk
Gareth Ainsworth (QPR head coach): “Belief is what we’re trying to get out of the boys and I am hoping for more of the same on Saturday. Points on the board are what count now.

“The nature of the point on Monday was important – how we came back into the game and addressed certain things at the weekend was the most important thing.

“It’s still in our hands and we have to try not to worry about other results. Everyone’s got a tough run-in.

“We’re going to fight like hell to survive.”

Mark Robins (Coventry manager): “We are coming up against a physical side; they’re big and strong and fighting for their lives. They have some good players in their ranks and that hasn’t changed.

“We have got to try and hurt them; we have to go and really hurt them.

“The league is unforgiving and we have to make sure we go in and show no forgiveness because we are desperate to get these points.”

Enjoy if you are going to be at HQ and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

Cut out conceding early goals and show the same commitment as with the fight back at The Hawthorns. Then, we could get something out of this.

They well and truly battered us at their place. Will take maximum effort and probably some luck to get anything from this game.

One of my rare away games. Men against boys. Will be tough but here's hoping again.

Was there when we won 2-1 at Highfield Road with Santos scoring in the last minute. Simpler times.

Think we are/were a bit of a bogey team for them. We seem to have won a fair bit at the new ground despite the battering and ensuing violence for the first game there. Remember a quite jammy 1-0 under Gregory to help keep us up. Jimmy Smith from memory.

Was left at home for the Eoin Jess game. Probably for the best given what followed.

****ing marvelous. Demoted from Prem for not being able to see Brighton should've had a blatant pen, even after watching it 5 times on VAR. Get ready for some more horrendous decisions. And we've got Stroud again for our home gane v Norwich ! We're doomed

Flip that was a long read. Credit to him for facing up to the stick. And fair point about his age and being out for five months not exactly helping prolong his career. I note he didn't sound delighted with Beale either in parts. Water under the bridge now hopefully.

Hopefully, as in recent games, we will not concede another early penalty or pair of goals. A 2-0 lead heading into half-time, in both upcoming home games, would be a welcome surprise.

I'm genuinely shocked...after a loan with Coventry, he signed on a permanent contract and in 2013/14 scored 23 goals in 34 games. He was awful for us, really bad, then two years later he was knocking them in for fun whilst playing for Coventry. Bizarre.

Considering our form and style of play (if it can be called that), I think Coventry will turn us over quite easily. Could be a very hard watch this one.

I was thinking that as well. Preston murdered us with slick fast footy, WBA were slow, ponderous and made us look like a decent passing team! Quite scary what GA has been coming out with this week based on a draw against a truly terrible team. Can see another Blackpool, unless GA can miraculously sort out our defence.

Would take a draw v Coventry. A win would be unbelievable. Anything else would be gloomy.

Looking at the other games tomorrow, we have a chance to pull away with a win if we can achieve that. Cardiff away to Blades, Reading host Burnley who'll want to put on a good show for their fans, Swansea host Huddersfield and Rotherham host Luton. Blackpool host Wigan and we have Coventry. Looking at the odds, we are the least likely to lose so a real chance if we can get a win or at least a point from tomorrow.

Totally get what you're saying, but at this stage of the season, results rarely go as predicted.
