That loss saw us drop to 4th, but thanks to Sheffield United drawing, and Norwich losing, remain only a point off 1st place. Working hard to keep my excitement in check here, and clearly failing. Our visitors on Wednesday evening are Cardiff City. They currently sit 18th after 14 games, having won 5, drawn 3 and lost 6. They've scored 12 and conceded 14, and in their last match lost at home to bottom side, Coventry. Their top scorer scorers are Robinson, O'Dowda, Sawyers, Harris...all four of whom have 2 goals. If I were a Cardiff fan though, I'd be concerned. Since relegation from the Premiership in 2019 they've finished 5th, then 8th and are now 18th...a clear decline that if continues, won't head anywhere fun. Team News QPR: Chris Willock and Jimmy Dunne are out, whilst Ethan Laird is back in contention Cardiff City: Rubin Colwill, Ebou Adama may be out, whilst Isaak Davies, Mahlon Romeo and Joel Bagan may return. Pre-match Talk Mick Beale (QPR head coach): “We’re really excited about the two games this week. “We come up against two managers who are doing fantastic jobs – Mark (Hudson) at Cardiff and Leam (Richardson) at Wigan. There is always danger around the corner in the Championship.” Mark Hudson (Cardiff City caretaker manager): “The players are all concentrated on getting results and continuing to work as hard as they have done this season as a team. We’re all thinking of what we can do as a unit, and that’s where we are at the moment. “It’s a busy period of games coming up, and we’re looking at tonight’s match against QPR knowing what comes after that, which we’re planning for as well.” Enjoy if you can make it, and as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
The most embarrassing thing about that horrible day was the 'anthems'. Rangers fans 'doot-dooting' to Pigbag versus 40,000 Welshmen singing Men of Harlech!
Colin is returning to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/neil-warnock-to-be-inducted-into-forever-rs-171022/ A NOTE TO ALL WHO ARE ATTENDING His name is not Colin, and he does not like it
Fifty years ago last month I saw my first QPR game, at home to Cardiff City in the old Second Division, a thumping 3-0 win which set me off on this brilliant moronic journey. We finished that season second to Burnley, promoted and ushering in a short but shining period of beautiful football and huge fun. It’s at times like this this that I mildly regret having absolutely zero belief in luck, fate, destiny, whatever. However I do believe in coincidence (how could I not, it happens) and would greatly appreciate the bizarre coincidence of something similar happening again this season. COME ON YOU Rsss!!! Cheers Dave.
As expected, its all been bullshit. A few can calm down on here now. Cone on let's end these Welsh maggots
He’s really very good, isn’t he? I don’t usually listen to these interviews, it’s usually cliche and repetition, but I could listen to this bloke for ages.
In his pre-match interview on the official site, he completely dodged the question. He didn't at any stage say he wasn't interested.
Should be a Hall of Fame for us QPR fans who have supported the club for 50 plus years! Start Date - January 1971 ( 10 year old ) End Date - N/A C’om you Rangers!
I will look forward to my induction into that hall of Fame then for when I get to 50 years March 1977 until ... March 2027. COYRs
Also started 1977 when I turned into a teenager. It's been one hell of a ride with ups and downs all the way. Looking forward to the induction.
