A team that I must confess to always regarding as our lesser neighbour, but who I now fear are gradually moving ahead of us. Not least of all with a new stadium, which is apparently isn't as hard as we are making it look; please log in to view this image They expect to be in for the start of the 2020/21 season. We'll still be looking at options available to us. Brentford travel to Loftus Road on the back of their first win in 8, a 2-0 win against Milwall last Saturday. This ended a run of 4 losses and 4 draws, which has left them 2 places and 2 points behind us, in 13th. Interesting to note the stats for top goalscorers. Their top scorer is Neal Maupay with 11, which is one goal per 110 minutes played. Compare this with Eze and it doesn't look so great, with Eze's 3 goals, 1 goal for every 450 minutes played. Interestingly, our most effective striker is Hemed with his 3 goals meaning he has one for every 225 minutes played. Brentford's second highest scorer is Watkins on 6, one for every 201 minutes played. Our last game ended in defeat, but before that we had 4 wins and a draw. A run which has bought about a bit of optimism and certainly a lot more backing for McClaren. A win on Saturday not only restores some pride and bragging rights over our neighbours, but could also move us up to within touching distance of the playoffs. Official preview; QPR will be looking to change an unfavourable stat when facing our neighbours Brentford this weekend. The R’s are searching for their first victory in five games against the Bees with the last win coming just over two-and-a-half years ago. Brentford have got the better of Rangers in recent fixtures but Steve McClaren’s side goes into this one two points and two places ahead of our west London rivals. The visitors enjoyed a fine start to the campaign but had a difficult October in which they lost their manager Dean Smith to Aston Villa and picked up just two points from a possible 15. New manager Thomas Frank did manage to get his first victory when they defeated Millwall 2-0 last week and looks to be continuing the same possession-based style that his predecessor implemented. QPR’s fine form came to an end at Blackburn last Saturday. The R’s were hoping to continue their unbeaten run but were denied due to a controversial late penalty from Bradley Dack. That defeat has not dampened the spirit in the camp and there’s no better way to start another winning run than against your neighbours. In this fixture, last year Rangers battled to somehow come away with a point. Our visitors were the superior side for most of the match and looked to be heading to a comfortable 2-0 victory, but injury-time goals from Luke Freeman and Matt Smith saw QPR steal a point. COME ON SUPER HOOPSA!!!
You clearly need a $hit load of steel to build a stadium ... anyone know where we can get some seriously discounted steel? Amit??
In Sydney airport at the moment Will post some suitable photos when I finally get back to my own computer Spent 22 hours in the air so far 8 hours spent in various airport bars has left me with the only conclusion that Sydney has the hottest female travellers The hottest females waiting for Qpr supporters in airports today will definitely be in Wellington
If it's any consolation, they're building a stadium with just our current capacity - maybe a tad more. They got lucky with the available land in a way we did not in Old Oak Common. I'm not a 'new ground sceptic'. Warren Farm would have been well on the way had it not been for the numpties and I do think we will get a new stadium hopefully at the LC site. He who laughs last laughs longest.
Seen the stands from the m4 A few times recently Don't care how big it is it still looks impressive coming up
Never had any strong opinions on Brentford being not from the area. However there’s a pretentiousness about them I don’t like which maybe will go away now Smith has gone. Only their way is the right way to run a club and they’re special in the way they do it.
The good news is that WLS say Cameron has trained all week and is fit for Saturday. The not so good injury news is that they aren't sure Hemed will be. I think we missed them both at Blackburn.
my first visit to Loftus Road this season. Come on u'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs
