They've lost three and drawn three of their last six, their last win came on November 6th...a 4-0 win against Swansea. This poor run has conveniently coincided with a poor run in form from league leaders, Fulham...but has seen the gap to third place, Blackburn, close to just one point. Their top scorer is Solanke, with 16 goals. They've certainly got experience in their side too, with the likes of Junior Stanislas and Gary Cahill. As for us, I'm hoping the break will have done us the world of good, and given time for injured players to fully recover, and fit players to have a break. Team News: QPR: Sam McCallum and Jordy de Wijs will miss out for the R’s, whilst Lyndon Dykes, Albert Adomah and Lee Wallace are pushing for returns. AFC Bournemouth: Adam Smith is out, whilst Emiliano Marcondes could return Pre-match talk: Mark Warburton (QPR Manager): “It should be a great game and we’re looking forward to it – I’m sure the fans are, too. “Bournemouth are a very, very good footballing team. I have lots of respect for Scott Parker and the talented players they’ve got there. “They’ve had a challenging few weeks but their quality is evident – we have to meet what is a stern challenge.” Scott Parker (AFC Bournemouth Manager): “QPR are a really good side, they have some real good quality, this is going to be a very difficult game for us. COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Do we actually believe this game is gonna go ahead ? And if it does will there be any spectators there ? Let's hope it's yes to both and we batter the detestable gits team
I don't think we'll know until a few hours before kick off. i am not buying Bristol or Brum tickets for same reason as a midweek in Feb visit there I won't be able to make.
Think they’re all ticket which it would be sensible to change but might create an issue if they’re on.
Having seen us perform at their place, I was convinced that we could beat them at the KP. However, with all this chaos, who can predict the effect on all the teams?! No doubt some will be weakened and others strengthened. We can only hope it goes well for us.
We may be a bit rusty with not having played and players out & such. Hope we can conjure up some festive spirit and have a win. C’om you R’rsss!
Also, I'm guessing there will be pressure from Sky to go ahead so as not to mess up their scheduling.
On the plus side, Adomah, Dykes, Odubajo and Wallace are back in the squad. On the not so plus side, Keith Stroud - who was born in ... wait for it ... Bournemouth, is the bloody ref yet again !!!
Joke, why would they have to fly out before this game when Premier league players aren't ? Warburton says Wallace and Adomah will be very touch and go for this game ! Jeez Wallace needs 15 years recovery time from injuries
Agree it's a total nonsense, we're at a disadvantage simply because Sky chose to move our game from the Sunday....... Anyway by the looks of things the Bournemouth might not go ahead, only 4 games left for Boxing day..... Huddersfield Town15:00 Blackpool Hull City15:00 Blackburn Rovers Luton Town15:00 Bristol City Middlesbrough15:00 Nottingham Forest All the others postponed due to COVID
Keith Stroud! In the words of a Neil Diamond song, 'I'm not a man who likes to swear...' but I might make an exception for Keith Stroud!
Unbelievable how Forest haven't been affected by one single game during their mental run of results ! You'd have thought that if they hadn't got it then 1 team they were due to play would've got it during this run of fixtures. Lucky bastards, only a point behind us now, come on Boro !
Yes but we have 2 games in hand it's not a worry. At one point there was 3 pts between 4 and 12, win our games In hand and its happy days. Still reeling about Stoke game though , should have been clear in play off position. I am very confident we will be in top 6 this year
