I never saw anything of the game. Mrs Nines booked our visit to the optician's for our eye tests at 3:20 for some inexplicable reason. Reading through the thread it's good to see that we can do this side of the game as well as the pretty stuff. What a fantastic result.

Maybe she read it as 13:20! Should have gone to...
Sorry you missed it Mate. It was a guts and glory display.

All about results at the moment. A really scrappy affair which I thought we handled very well. It was always going to take a goal like that to win it. Dieng pulled a couple of blinders off again whilst Barbet has been very good for a fair few weeks now. I actually thought Ball would be subbed to save a 2nd booking but he managed to control himself. Not the prettiest game but an excellent result.

No idea if that's a fair reflection of the game but you can see why Blackburn will be annoyed at missing some of their chances.

No more than we've been annoyed at our strikers before Charlie arrived. It's about time we had a bit of luck in front of goal, and Barbet was fortunate the pinball landed at his feet and he managed to tuck it away. Would happily take one of those every week

Odd as it doesn't show their best chance ...the great shot that Dieng parried into the path of the Blackburn striker and Dickie blocked on the line

great great defending...as both shots could not have been faulted for strength or accuracy

I could hardly take my eyes off it, may not have been great to watch as a neutral but there were many, many close opportunities for both sides, and the game could have gone either way the whole 96 minutes.

Very true!

I was also very engrossed and unusually attentive in watching the match.

Hope Dykes is ok.
I'm eager to head an update on Dykes.

It was quite worrying at the time because all his limbs were dead weight. And he seemed to go pale. He looked totally out of it when they tried to stand him up.

I also knew it was bad as soon as he went down because Dykes never stays down and rolls around like some players.

Also, we could really do with not losing a striker.

[Edit]
Just found this at the bottom of the Warburton reflection article on the QPR site:

Dykes was forced off after taking what appeared to be a heavy knock to the head, and Warburton explained: “Lyndon took a good old whack, he worked hard today and took a knock for his troubles, but we hope he will be alright and we will follow the protocols and he will hopefully be back next week.”

Not much info.
