    Match Preview;
This weekend we have a cup tie against Premier League side Bournemouth FC. Before their defeat to Spurs on Sunday, Bournemouth had won 4 in a row, including a 0-3 victory at Old Trafford. Their top scorer is Dominic Solanke, with 13 so far this season, and it'll be interesting to see if their starting 11 are rested, or they play a strong side. Given our form, if they put out their best side, I don't hold much hope.

I'm sorry to say I haven't seen much that inspires hope from watching QPR in recent months. We had a nice little run of three wins in a row from November 28th to December 9th, but since then we've lost 4 and drawn 2, slipped into the relegation zone, and now sit 23rd, and 4 points from safety. Our next league game is on the 14th January, and so I had a look at the table from the same date last year. We'd won 10, drawn 7 and lost 10. Looking at that, it means in the last calendar year, we've won 8, drawn 10 and lost 27. We've gone through two managers, Critchley and Ainsworth, and seen massive dips in form from some of our key players. All makes for rather grim reading, and I know I should launch into a fantasy about the magic of the FA Cup, but sadly, with this bunch of players I just don't see it happening. A mixture of lack of ability and lack of desire means I am just hoping we get enough on the board this season to stay up, I have no hope of a cup run. I made it to the Southampton game, and it was just frustrating to watch such slow and predictable build up play.

Enjoy if you'll be at the match, team news and manager comments to go up when on the official, and as always, no matter how bad it gets...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    Cheers Dave.

It’s actually AFC Bournemouth, and they get quite upset if you don’t include the AFC, which is not an acronym for anything, was just put there to ensure that they come above Arsenal and Villa in alphabetical lists. Seriously.

Tells you everything you need to know about the mindset of these feckless ****ers, who get let off with a sub £5m FFP fine when they were pretty close to our idiocy in terms of annual overspend. Plus they gave Harold Redknapp a start in management. I dislike this club and it’s 8 fans intensely.

I won’t be going, I only attend cup games when the competition gets serious, sixth round.

    It’s been a long time.

Leon Best of course. A go-to option for the few opponents Lee Camp didn’t play for.

Did they drop the Boscombe bit of their name or did I imagine that was ever a thing?

Anyway, not got a ticket yet but I’ll go along. Pray we don’t sack it off as it’s the one hope of some enjoyment this season but fully expect the Duke-Mckenna, Drewe etc. dregs of the squad to play.

Yeah, originally Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic Football Club.

I suppose we should be grateful to Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and especially Weymouth for ensuring that all the **** in Dorset is concentrated in these few places, leaving the rest of the county to be serenely beautiful.

Yes, went to Bournemouth to watch the mighty Bwood’s cup win and it was a real dump. The ex’s mum moved to a village outside Swanage and it was like living in an episode of Heartbeat. Nice for a couple of days but I’d probably throw myself off a cliff eventually living there. Maybe in 40 years.

Pretty sure we will put out a team of youngsters. We obviously wont get anywhere in the cup and staying in the Championship is the only objective this season and we need to increase our record of the worst performing team in the 3rd round.

Fully expect Bournemouth B side to thump our B side, the last thing we need at the moment are more injuries to the first 11.

So we are the worst performing team in the 3rd round and have the worst league record for the last 5 years?

Probably the only football league team to fail to beat a bunch of blokes working in a car factory twice too.

I've decided to go. I imagine it's rather like a drug habit, you know it's not going to do you any good but you just can't resist it.

Hope it doesn't make me a plastic fan but I'm not going. Enough torment just with the league.

    We'll probably win now.
