Watford travel to QPR without thier fans but with the abiliy to use 5 subs. I hope that it is still only in 3 sub sessions though.

Looking through some of the results pre-2015 it brings back some memories of past players.

It's tight at the top in the table and if other results go our way (Muff v Reading being the early one fixture there) we could well be top of the table come Saturday evening.

Watford should have their international absentees back, but, no news as of yet if they will be playing. I doubt Ivic will give much away as usual.

I think we have ridden our luck a bit so far this season, with scorelines papering over some cracks in performances.

Now, hopefully, can be the time to get the points to match the production on the pitch. Especially, as there is a run of 11 fixtures (COVID and my counting skills permitting) from QPR until the end of 2020, that is two games a week!

    ENJOY THE GAME.
    <cheers>

Valid point about our international wanderers Mex - the accursed International break will no doubt strike again. Our defence could be the hardest hit, with WTE, Cathcart & Wilmot all having been involved - although, on the bright side, only WTE had any real travel to undertake, so may be the only one of the three to be rested.
Of the others, Sema was a bench warmer for the duration and Sarr last played on Sunday, so both should be fresh enough to play. I hope...

Looking at the history between the two clubs, we have some catching up to do - fingers crossed that starts on Saturday. I'm going for a 2-0 away win...

My point about the international players is that they have been outside the Watford bubble and there is a danger they can bring the virus back into the camp. There have been a number of players tested positive either away or on their return at other clubs so there is a case for isolation on their return to avoid us having multiple cases within the club. Certainly it is worth being careful and where possible don't play them this weekend until after a further test and then come back in for the mid-week game.

Wilmot was back quickly, he might get his preferred central berth for once? It would give him the chance to show how good he can be there.

Given all the tired international travellers and knocks, is anyone brave enough to predict our starting lineup for today?

    I'm guessing

    Bachmann

    Wilmot
    Kabasele
    Kiko

    Sema
    Capoue
    Chalobah
    Ngakia

    Pedro
    Deeney
    Sarr

subs: Foster, Cathcart, WTE, Sierralta, Cleverley, Garner, Gray, Murray

    Kabasele, Cleverley & Garner OUT

Wilmot, Chalobah & João Pedro IN

So after all that seems the International players do play.

Not sure the extra subs really help up tbh!
