QPR hope for no Bolton repeat on Atkinson's return Yorkshire official Martin Atkinson is back in the Bush this Saturday for the first time since our opening day humbling by Bolton . QPR will do well to avoid a similar scoreline against free-wheeling Manchester City. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...hope_for_no_bolton_repeat_on_atkinsons_return
QPR welcome Manchester City FC This Saturday we can finally welcome one of the two Manchester Clubs to Loftus Road . Because of Manchester Citys fall into the lower leagues like ourselves we have had some recent fixtures with them the latest being 8th March 2000 resulting in a 3 -1 win for the Hoops.................................... My tactics against citeh. Put the wrong address in the coach sat nav. Bloc up the motorways and roads into London. If they reach the ground lock them in the dressng room. Try and nick their fooball boots play with the full 25 man squad. Hope Silva is has a nightmare And pray we can nick a 1-0 win In all honesty, I can see our team getting a stuffing (and I hate to say that as it is 11 v11 at the end of the day).
yeah - I'm not expecting much joy from this one. Let's get it out of the way without too much embarrassment and then move on....
I would like to say that you never know what’s going to happen, as in against Chelsea, however I think Man City is a game where you should sit back, shout for the lads, and enjoy the quality on show and hope that Tevez and Mancini have the most monumental 12 round training ground punch-up the night before thus unsettling their team
I think Mancini should be brought onto the pitch before the game and given a standing ovation. Let Loftus Road rock to the sounds of "There's only one Mancini". (Then Terry can go up to the directors box and enjoy the rest of the game.)
Well Fulham drew 2-2 with them, and they only beat us 6-0, so I'm going to be optimistic and say that we're gonna surprise them with a gritty no-holds barred performance and only lose 20-0.
We need to make as much noise as the Chelsea game, the City fans won't be the same as the scum, they will be singing constantly and we have to try and drown them out and lift our players.Similarly the team has to get stuck into them from the off, don't give them any time on the ball and try and keep Silva as quiet as possible.Kompany is banned,so i'm hoping a few more of their players take a knock tonight and miss the game through injury. If we can repeat the tempo we showed early on against Chelsea we might just surprise them!
Sadly i cannot look at City the same way as those mugs from down the road. I won't be chanting much probably just watching their fab team and be hoping that one day QPR may have a similar team to compete at the top. Saying that after a few beers i won't know what i will be doing.
We need to make as much noise as the Chelsea game at every home match, it definitely surprised and rattled them early on. Trouble is we don't have quite the same level of motivation against the rest......
IF they have any sort of weekness it has to be in defence so we have to go out and try and score goals. If we play like we did against Spurs first half or even Chelski we are screwed even if they do go down to 9 men. We need to play like we did against Spurs second half and try and attack and get in their faces and hope for the best. Then we might only lose 3-1.
I honestly think were either gonna be totally annialated or pull off the biggest shock of the entire season.I stangely feel more optomistic about this game than i did for the Chelsea one, obviously i need to up my medication!
Shout twice as loud for me. I'll be shouting in Oslo for all the good that will do. I reckon the aggression we gave at the Chelsea game went a long way to unsettling them, and helped win us the game. Great if we can repeat that every home match -could be the difference between staying up or not..
I think Mancini is just the type that Warnock can wind up...so I think we have a hope of getting something. Also Loftus Road is a tight pitch which will not suit them.
Lets hope silva, aguero, dzeko are all playing tonight and get a hard game from villareal. Then Mancini puts faith in their second(sic) team against us, and we catch them napping. Mind you if we are to lose, I'd rather be watching their world class players do it
HH, I was thinking on the same lines as you as in pulling off the shock of the season, can you give me some tips on what medication I should be taking.
Man.City aren't going to win every game this season. In fact they're due a defeat, and that will be on Saturday. Come on U Rssss!
