Harry Redknapp’s side welcome the Foxes to W12 in a key clash between two sides currently sitting in the bottom three. Whilst Rangers’ improved performances haven’t necessarily yielded the points they’ve deserved in recent weeks, Nigel Pearson’s side have slipped down the Premier League table following an alarming reversal in fortunes in the last two months. After a promising start to the campaign, which included a stunning 5-3 comeback victory against Manchester United, City have failed to win any of their last seven fixtures, registering just two points from a possible 21. The Hoops, meanwhile, will be keen to build on their last showing at Loftus Road, when they pushed reigning champions Manchester City all the way in a pulsating 2-2 draw. In-form centre-half Richard Dunne will miss the visit of the Foxes owing to a one-match suspension, whilst Sandro is also sidelined with a knee injury. However, Chilean duo Mauricio Isla and Eduardo Vargas are set to return to the starting XI, providing Redknapp with a huge boost ahead of a key run of fixtures. Zoumana Bakayogo (knee) and Dean Hammond (calf) remain Leicester’s only injured players, as both Ben Hamer and Matthew Upson played a part in the Development Squad’s 2-0 win over Benfica on Monday. please log in to view this image Possible QPR Starting Xl please log in to view this image LEICESTER CITY – Likely line-up (4-4-2): Schmeichel; Konchesky, Morgan. PRE-MATCH TALK - QPR V LEICESTER QPR gaffer, Harry Redknapp: “I’m expecting a tough game on Saturday. “Leicester are a good side, and were far and away the best side in the Championship last season, they won the division comfortably. “Nigel Pearson has done a great job with them. He’s added a couple of very experienced players, particularly Esteban Cambiasso. “It will be a difficult game but we’re at home and it’s a game we’ll be looking to win.” Foxes striker, Leo Ulloa: “QPR will be a difficult game for us but we can win there. “It’s important to start focusing on this game now, and when we’re training, we need to be thinking about controlling the game and be both creative and defensive. “I think the result (against Sunderland) was okay but we had chances to score. It’s important because we had chances. We played better than we did in our last game, and it’s important for us that we didn’t lose – now we’re focusing on the next game.” The Managers Daughters-in-law please log in to view this image - - - please log in to view this image Louise Redknapp ( QPR ) and Kaitlin Pearson ( LCFC ) BET VICTOR QPR win: 13/10 Draw: 23/10 Leicester City win: 21/10 LAST MEETING - QPR V LEICESTER Leicester City1, QPR 0 – Championship – Saturday 19th April 2014 Scorer: Leicester – Nugent HEAD TO HEAD - QPR V LEICESTER QPR wins: 25 Draws: 10 Leicester City wins: 22 MATCH OFFICIALS - Referee: R East Assistant Referee: P Kirkup & I Hussin Fourth Official: P Dowd Malcolm Oakley please log in to view this image QPR to remember supporter and former employee Malcolm Oakley with black armbands and minute's applause on Saturday ... LAST week, the club was saddened to hear of the passing of supporter and former employee, Malcolm Oakley. Malcolm, 66, worked in the Box Office. He was also an ardent fan who picked up the club's supporter of the year award in 2013 having not missed a home fixture in 50 years. Malcolm was well-known by many who follow QPR and will be missed by family and friends alike. Such was his standing at the club that the players will wear black armbands in his memory for Saturday's fixture v Leicester City. Please also join us in celebrating Malcolm’s life when we hold a minute’s applause before the game. May he rest in peace. please log in to view this image Sound doesn't kick in until 6:43 please log in to view this image please log in to view this image

Nice to see the comments for Malcolm Oakley. If anybody deserved a minutes applause at a game it would be him. As for the game itself, it is huge. The biggest game of the season so far and one that we desperately need to win.
Thanks 9's. Leicester win the daughter in law contest by a country mile. Let's hope that is all they win today. A six pointer in November!!
Dunne will be a big miss today, he would have handled Ulloa well. Glad to see the club take care of our former heroes. MARTIN Rowlands returns to Loftus Road this weekend, becoming the latest former R's favourite to be invited back to the club on a matchday this season. Rowlands will be a special guest as Harry Redknapp's charges take on Leicester City in a crucial Barclays Premier League fixture in W12. The ex-R's skipper will be presented to the crowd at half-time, before taking part in a Q&A pitchside. Rowlands made more than 200 appearances for Rangers following his switch from Brentford in 2003, scoring 37 goals.
