    QPR V Leeds Utd

    Hi Folks

72 Hours after seeing off Bolton, Leeds are back in action, this time with Steve McClaren's QPR.

The ex England bosses tenure at Loftus Road must he hanging by a thread having seen his side lose seven consecutive league games in a row, and slipping to 18th in the Championship table.

By comparison, Leeds 13 points from a possible 21 looks reasonable.

Leeds have no new injury worries. Dallas and Brown are fit, and both will surely play a big part in the midweek fixture.

Shackleton is itching for some game time, but will Bielsa give the youngster a starting slot, especially after seeing Aylings best game this year!

Talking of best games, Citeh loanee Jack Harrison played a blinder on Saturday - if he can keep that going, it will certainly be a huge benefit to Bielsa's side.

Jack Clarke returned to training on Friday following the virus which saw him rushed to hospital during the latter stages of the Boro game. It remains to be seen whether the 18yo will play any part of the QPR game!

Boltons boss Phil Parkinson claimed he could 'feel anxiety in the air' at Elland Road on Saturday. If that is true what are Leeds going to be like at Loftus Road knowing that a win will see the Whites soar back to the summit of the Championship.

I'd say every home game now there will be anxiety in the air, as a home player ER is not a place for the faint hearted at the best of times but with so much at stake, the pressure will be cranked even higher, an early goal or 2 will help the cause. Unfortunately the tension does transfer to the pitch that's when players make rushed decisions, we'll most likely see better away performances because of less pressure on the players, there's a different atmosphere from supporters away from home.

Anxiety wasn't too bad,as most thought a goal would come, another 10 minutes without one would have changed things though.

I noticed Matt was very clear with his losing ‘seven consecutive league games’.

No room for misinterpretation on that one, unlike his property descriptions no doubt.

As for qpr, better side than results suggest. Terrible start to the season followed by a really good run, followed by a really bad run. They are leaking goals and getting no luck... but the performances are decent. Runs like their’s come to an end sometime... let’s hope Tuesday is not the day, but it certainly won’t be easy... were such a thing possible for a Leeds team.

Agree an early goal for Leeds though and their crowd will be turning on McClaren

Team selection, I wonder if one eye will be on Fridays game. I can’t see how we can rest anyone not for the full game anyway.

So we only have klich and one other in midfield. Cunning plan sniffer so we have one covering the defence leaving us with klich or forshaw.

    Good news.

Tonights game is available to watch on LUTV throughout the UK & Ireland...no need for a fancy VPN just sign up, pay the £10 and away you go. Coverage starts from 7pm and there will be analysis and replays to enhance the experience.

In addition anyone with Sky and access to the red button can view the game that way also, so just about everyone should be able to see tonights match.

Tough game coming up for sure and an absolutely vital one. As usual the key will be who scores the first goal, something we've struggled to do away from home of late.

One thing we do know is that everyone involved with the club will be giving 100% for the cause as we seem to be truly united both on and off the field.

At this stage of the season it isn't about performances but points. Will take a scrappy 0-1 and move onto the next game, not least because I really want to see us keep a clean sheet for once, which we might actually do if we stop giving team free kicks into our box every ten 10 minutes.
