The West Londoners have won twice since the beginning of October, beating Ipswich at home, and surprisingly enough against runaway leaders Wolves. QPR boss Ian Holloway surely must be a result or two from losing his job, though to be fair TC can't be too far behind him. Leeds have no fresh injury doubts, so the Leeds gaffer with Lasogga facing a late fitness test, but if fit, should the big German play?
I’ll be there, shouting on the Hoops and groaning every time Dirty Leeds score. Actually they are pretty useless at the moment so I’m hoping we’ll do ok. Leeds by 1 goal.
Makes many changes ? I would start with Ekuban even if Lasogga is fit - remember the 1st game last season ?
Be interesting to see the team and formation especially in the middle. There does seem to be a split between Leeds fans about Phillips? for what its worth I think young Kalvin has earned the right to be included, but I also think that anyone who gets a regular pick should be watched for when performance isnt kept at top standard. Timely substitutions could be better, as Ayling, Berardi, Cooper & Pontus, plus Lassoga, Phillips, O'Kane & Alioski could have all been replaced in the past. The set-piece coach seems to be working according to Phil Hay - Pontus scored, Cooper could have scored 2, positioning seems to be further forward when defending our goal?
Morning all. Important Pablo plays. Hope hes fit as we were a different team against Villa without him and the set pieces were mainly down to his delivery as usual. Also think Ekuban should start. Lasogga will be heading back to Germany in a few months anyway so more benefit in giving Ekuban the game time. Who knows how well he'd be doing now had he not missed most of first half of season through injury
Good Morning to Matt ERic Kev WJ ETC From a dull Bardsey You missed mentioning Matt QPR will be without Mackie and Baptiste as they were both sent off at Preston last week Difficult Ekuban or Lassoga but I would play Ekuban Poor Ian looked very worried after the Preston game so yes the axe is being sharpened as we speak as for TC he will be OK certainly for this yearikts not his fault we have not signed anyone to replace Wood Taylor and Barkley and signed poor replacement for Green We can't play as bad as last season can we? I see we lost 2 test but at least the 2 Yorkie fought well
Morning all, same starting 11 as we had against Villa assuming everyone is fit. If not then I’d be tempted to put Sacko wide left or swap him with Alioski, I’m not a fan of his but QPR would not expect to see someone with pace in that position so might be under prepared. They’d have already sorted out who was watching Ekuban and his pace, they’d be a bit confused with Sacko running at them.
Missed my P's and Q's sorry evening from a warm/ sub-tropical Queensland Matt, WJ, Eire Shacks. LoL. OLOF. 60, Marcos, LL, Pat, Wakey, Jammy, Glory, 2penneth, Farsley, Forza, Old sea dog, Alf, Davy, LL, Chesh, Ristac, Doc, W,C, 2020, RCDM, Old Git. Xbpod. Lee. Este - sorry I'm sure I've missed some ? but hi to all
I’d like the same 11 to take to the field who started against Villa. If Hernandez is injured I’d like to see Sacko wide left or or wide right with Alioski on the opposite side. I don’t mind Dallas, he is a decent player but I feel Hernandez has more skill than Dallas, if Hernandez is out injured we need to replace the missing skill with something else to scare the opposition, pace. I have a feeling if Hernandez is injured we’ll see Roofe starting left, that then seriously hampers substitutes (in my opinion).
Ristac I think we will see Roofe too if Hernandez is out, but is he the best? I would prefer Dallas if fit but think Tommy needs to make a decision about Roofe as I dont think he's good enough. He clearly isnt a striker in this division, sorry to say it as I like him, but hes a lightweight up front unless in a 4-4-2 as I can see him snapping up bits and pieces. Will we ever play that way though. Dallas is a better winger and he scores goals too, so more options with Dallas. Somebody made a great point the other day about Sacko, may have been WJ. Why did we spend £2m on him after last season? Part of the original loan agreement so that we were forced to buy him? Makes the only sense to me so was this a Monk legacy? Will Sacko ever produce end product?
I agree, Hernandez, Sacko, Dallas are all better than Roofe on the left, although a couple of months back I’d have had Hernandez last. I don’t mind Roofe on the bench, he isn’t a great player but he is versatile. When we start with him it leaves Grot as our only attacking option off the bench. With the Lasogga “problem” it leaves us very thin up front. It is a shame some of the other midfield options haven’t worked out as surely Saiz or Alioski would have made great make shift strikers in an emergency.
That was my point actually. At least give me credit for the odd one I make Answer to your other point, he will never have an end product. If he hasnt learned by now, he never will examples McGeady and Aidy White
Don’t think you are listed Oh hang on, I was looking for fckg misery, he’s used your old name instead
What the feck are you still doing here. chesh told me he had chased you away and I was on my own on brexit. I am not on someone elses list of hellos and feel bulled by exclusion.
