He's been very reliable with his feet until today. When that happens its worth rotating him out at least for a game

Interesting thing was we were after Darlow. He wasn’t fantastic with his feet either.

Perhaps I’m being a bit naive, but having a goalkeeper who is good with his feet wouldn’t be an issue if we didn’t pass back to the sodding goalkeeper at every possible opportunity.

We need to start realising that teams have cottoned on to how we play and are now hugely pressing us.

Our way of playing, this tipitaka style, is fine if the possession stays away from our goal and is slick, fast and accurate. In the last two games it’s been horizontal, slow and obvious. Too many of the lads are just too cautious with the ball, and when we do lose it, we don’t seem to have any midfielders in the middle of the park. Chair today (gone tomorrow) picked up the ball countless times and ran forty yards untested, Seri can’t catch people and Morton drifts out wide. It’s leaving a huge hole in our midfield area that the opposition keep exploiting.

Players like Tufan get knocked for their work rate, but if we are going to play this style, they need to be in the team because they can pass the ball quickly. I remember my coach (Dave Goodchild) at Whitby constantly telling us to take two touches and pass it on. If you had the ball longer than 3 seconds, you were ****ing up the game plan. I’m pretty sure that’s standard for most teams.

I like the idea of Zajc coming in, he’s the kind of midfielder that links play nicely. Dozell for QPR did a great job today too. The signings we make in January need to be much more dynamic than what we have. No more Crucible style ****ing safety play. We’ve got the ability, use it.

I'm sorry Liam but your comments point to you being delusional...

The 2 goals, regardless of whether we were in control or not, exposed our defensive frailties. The first goal was an example of one QPR player taking the piss out of 3 of our players and having far too much time, space and freedom to get a shot off that left an out of sorts, bereft of confidence keeper, flapping in the breeze.Second goal was a speculative overarm throw which caused Seri to pass back to our, once again, bereft of confidence keeper...Robbed of the ball,he's in no man's land,2-0!!!

Their goalkeeper made one save which required him to dive slightly to his right, the other 2 attempts at goal were hit straight at him, hardly outstanding saves.

I also 'like this team' but if we continue to perform as we did today,we will lose a big part of what makes me like it and that would be Liam Delap at the end of the season.

That performance today was nowhere near the standard we should be striving to achieve,it was un-praiseworthy.

The Boro performance midweek will tell us so much more about the resolve of this team, today's performance did not.

Guess that 2nd goal adds to the list?
It's ok Rosenior saying afterwards he should have put his laces through it, but he's the one putting an expectation on them to retain possession and pass it around even in dangerous positions. That's what Allsop was trying to do but got himself in a tangle. Game over.

Why isn’t Harry Vaughan getting a go out wide, I know he’s been injured, but he’s a better player out wide than Adama and Twine. He has a trick and a bit of skill, surely deserves a go off the bench. Now we will have about 3 number 10s against Middlesborough.

We have always been slow in transition
Quite often we only make it to midfield before going back to defence again
Our plan seems to be to keep the ball as far away from the opponent's goal as possible

I was impressed with the number of City fans on Saturday
I thought we would only have half of the number given it was December
Once in the second half we were incredibly loud

QPR were just like most teams in the division - they attack when they get the ball

I saw one shot just inside the post and one shot just outside the post
As you say all the rest were hit at their keeper or high into the stands
Why dont they practice keeping the ball down when they shoot?
