Following yesterday's last-gasp defeat at Ipswich Town, the R's will be keen to right the wrongs of the final 15 minutes of the fixture at Portman Road, and with it, register Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's first victory in the QPR hot-seat. Leading on the stroke of half-time through Junior Hoilett, the Hoops deserved more in Suffolk, but their failure to kill off the Tractor Boys when leading 1-0 ultimately proved decisive, as first Jonathan Douglas, and then Luke Chambers - in stoppage time - condemned Rangers to a first defeat under the Dutchman. Huddersfield, meanwhile, were busy toasting a Boxing Day success at home to Preston North End. David Wagner - who arrived at the John Smiths Stadium in early November in the wake of Chris Powell's departure - saw his side triumph 3-1 against North End, thanks in part to Nakhi Wells' double. That win was the Terriers third in five outings, a run of results that has seen them climb out of the Championship relegation zone into 19th place, three points clear of the dreaded drop zone. please log in to view this image QPR Starting Xl? please log in to view this image Huddersfield Town – Likely line-up (4-4-2): Steer; Smith, Hudson, Lynch, Chilwell; Dempsey, Huws, Hogg, Scannell; Wells, Lolley MATCH ODDS QPR win: Evens Draw: 23/10 Huddersfield Town win: 11/4 LAST TIME OUT Huddersfield Town 0, QPR 1 – Championship – Saturday 29th August 2015 Scorer: QPR – Chery HEAD TO HEAD QPR wins: 13 Draws: 7 Huddersfield Town wins: 10 MATCH OFFICIALS Referee: B Malone Assistant Referees: S Butler & C Brook Fourth Official: E Kaye please log in to view this image
Whose the lady, with all her QPR paraphenalia taking selfies in a mirror 999s .....slightly odd behaviour, but heart in the right place obviously (sorry lads for the ignorannce, but I do not recognise girlies like you do) See you all in the pub about 1.40. And in the ground to hear Hi Ho Super Rangers (please!!!!)
C'mon U Sooooopeerrhooooooopppppsssaaaa Enjoy the meet up in the C&S, will be with you in spirit.......great that so many have travelled from far and wide........
Warnock had it right playing Henry right back, Onuoha is a liability in that position. Very negative line up for a home game IMO
Would agree. Also not sure how Konchesky is going to hold up with another game so quick. Pretty sure he got roasted at their place without the fatigue. Chery and Luongo not getting a game over knackered players can't get my head around that. I'd start them regardless Toszer playing? And alongside Henry and Sandro. If we don't win today then questions really needs to be asked of Jimmy. Does he actually want to win a game?! Oh and no striker of course
The serious question is why are Luongo, Polter, JET and Chery not getting a look in today. Are these players not pulling their weight in training? Are they simply deemed as not being good enough? These queries lead to the question of what is going to happen in the window. More players in? The merry-go-round starts again? Is Charlie on his way out? Lots of theories leading to Vardy to Citeh and Charlie to Leicester. Whatever the truths are, something is not right at LR. The same pattern of team selection is being played out by three successive managers, one after the other. Something stinks?
Agree with everything that has been said......this side sends out the completely wrong message to the opposition......we should be making teams fear coming to Loftus Road, I bet Huddersfield are having a right good laugh in their dressing room....... Off course it may work and JFH is a genius.....
A serious question. Does anybody have any idea on the envisaged formation and who.plays where? As I am confused.
Team looks good to me in that Ale is hopefully getting a rest, and not injured. Phillips is probably as good up front as anyone else when Austin is injured.
Total guess Ski but looks possibly like 4411 with Fer playing behind Phillips, but that could all change and Hoilett plays up top........it is confusing for sure...
What in the holy **** is that line up . At home !!!! Cherry ? Jet ? Luongo ? Get them the **** on ! Someone crack the whip !!! If there injured tell us if not this is a ****ing joke .
Thanks for the reply. We seem to have an additional defender. Are we playing 5 across the back or will someone be more advanced?
