Rangers, of course, went into the break on the back of three wins on the spin in the second tier, and with back-to-to-back home fixtures on the horizon this week, Chris Ramsey will be keen to see his charges build on their promising start to the campaign in front of the R’s faithful. During that time, deadline day has come and gone without any significant departures, with Rob Green, Matt Phillips, Leroy Fer and Charlie Austin all staying put, whilst former Watford duo Gabriele Angella and Daniel Tozser have also been added to the squad since our last outing. The aforementioned victories lifted the Hoops into fourth place after five matches, with Ramsey deservedly shortlisted for the Manager of the Month gong in the Championship, only to be pipped to the award by Brighton boss Chris Hughton. Forest, meanwhile, head to London in 16th place, with five points from a possible 15, having lost star-man Michail Antonio to West Ham United on the final day of the transfer window. However, they’ve been buoyed by the arrivals of Portugal international striker Nelson Oliveira, Lille winger Ryan Mendes and Brighton attacker Chris O’Grady. And yesterday, Forest confirmed the loan signing of Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams, until the New Year. Jamie Mackie will miss out on playing against his former club owing to a groin injury, whilst Leroy Fer also remains sidelined with a knee injury – although both players are back in modified training, taking part in some, but not all the sessions. Seb Polter is out as he continues to recover from a hamstring strain, which is likely to keep him sidelined for the next few weeks, whilst Sandro is still working his way back to full fitness. However, Yun Suk-Young and Ben Gladwin could both be in contention following recent injuries. Forest loan signings O'Grady, Mendes and Oliveira are all available to feature at Loftus Road if selected, but Williams is not expected to feature as he continues to improve his fitness. Jamie Ward is still a doubt with a hamstring injury he sustained before the international break, but former R’s front-man Dexter Blackstock and Ben Osborn are expected to be included in the squad after recovering from their recent knocks. Another excellent effort Nines. I think we just shade it in the glamour stakes. Forest will be no pushover and in players like Lansbury and Burke will be dangerous round our box. I like the look of our team, a win by any score will do...
Think Henry will b in for doughty especially give n CR's comments about him n Sandro earlier in the week?
I'm willing to accept full blame if we don't win. My pre-match routine today has proved unlucky in the past
999s the girlies are not up to your usual standard. I do not care about the Forest lady....but please get a girly who wears the blessed hoop with a smile and not a pout and a sneer please
Paige Brooklyn, whoever she is, absolutely would get 30 seconds of my best stuff but also looks like the sort who would be inviting you over for Sunday lunch to meet her parents the next day and telling you she's pregnant after you say you aren't interested in anything serious. However, if not, feel free to drop me a PM
Watford you are a shallow, shallow man Where is your desire for the finer things in life, like a meeting of equal souls and intellects, and a girl who smiles when she is wearing her new QPR shirt. (And 30 seconds.....really!!!)
Trying to keep it real Beth. ( I'm also running out of ideas. ) It's difficult finding pics of fans in their team's tops let alone a smiling one. Right, fed and watered. Time to head for the game.
Apart from young Cole with the England U20s did we have any players on international duty? CR has had a good chunk of time to get them playing the way he wants. I still think patience will be needed, but the direction is looking good.
That's not such a bad trip if you travel first/business with flat seats class and sleep. At least you get time for a decent kip, the 7-8 hour flights which give you 4 hours or so to sleep after all the faffing around are worst.
No Poulter or Faurlin.......any ideas if they're injured? Don't understand why Ale is not included at all
