#MondayMemories It's only fitting considering Sunday's opposition to share #QPR's first goal in the top-flight

That was in the old days of Everton being slow starters though!

Slow starters or not, Warnock coached this team to a win up there.

Coached a team to the win or got extremely lucky, as were completely outplayed for virtually the entire game. Luck goes a long long way to defining success and failure in football, moreso than alot of people think.

Anyway on to Everton. Sounds stupid using the phrase ''must win'' game this early in the season, but this already feels like one of those games to me, considering Arsenal away is next up. Everton have started brightly but if our players pull their fingers out and Adel carries on his form, I don't see a reason why we can't snatch a win from this. Oh and if, of course, the defence have mastered that alien concept of 'defending' over the international break.

    2-1 to the R's!

If that team can beat them, so can the current one.

Roll call, two from here going.

Memories, Sir Les used to always score a hatful against them.

Team selection, depends who's fit but I would like to see a nice attacking side as we need the 3 points badly.

Any other thoughts, as supporters, lets stay positive, please.

    Cheers Northolt,

What transport do you use, Aer Lingus to Heathrow. Convenient flight times, no rugby scrum for the seats etc.

Must cost you a fortune, It does. I am afraid to look at my credit card statement these days. Thank god for credit.

Will be missing the two Christmas games as the flights are astronomical and also two games in January as I will be away for a while. I expect to attend 15 of the 19 home league games this season and maybe a couple of the away games.

What chance that MH will change to 4231 for this one.......fat chance or slim chance?

Time to unleash Tabs, Hoilett & Granero, stick Samba & Ale as the holding midfield, play BZ lone sticker to bring the 3 from the middle into the game, get the defence sorted, score more goals than them and we win....simples!!!!!!

Think we're doing our sunday meet up in Enniscorthy, Inky & myself travelling down to see Corker & Cork a Hoop.......Looking forward to coming over for the saints game...first time at HQ for a few years.

    Keep the faith.

Thing is Flyer the world and his wife can see that but those that are paid thousands seem reluctant to play that system......still what do we know we're only armchair critics!!!!!!!

I am going to be positive and go for a win. Don't care if it is a scrappy 1-0 or a soft penalty as long as we grind out the result and stick three points on the board.

Let's face it, nicking draws at home only to get spanked away is no way to wage a Premiership campaign. The Toffees look like a decent shout for top 5 or 6 this year but they have to lose sometimes and why not us?

If TF is right and he thinks us armchair supporters need some convincing then let's start on Sunday.

I think certain managers would rather get sacked than admit they were wrong. I would be happy for him to play 442 if we had at least 2 target men and 2 poachers and had 2 attacking wingers that would supply the crosses for them.

We have to play Park (only if hes on the right) Granero Taarabt/Hoilett as the attacking 3 midfielders with 2 of Faurlin/Diakite/Mbia behind them.

When you look at the players available we should have a good side capable of taking point of most sides. Personally for the time being i would play Mbia alongside Nelsen leaving both Diakite and Ale to anchor the midfield and try to get a settled side playing a style that they are all comfortable with....there is bound to be an upturn over the next few weeks.
