Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has appealed for calm ahead of the FA Cup fourth-round tie with Queens Park Rangers. It is the first meeting between the two clubs since John Terry was charged with racially abusing QPR's Anton Ferdinand. Villas-Boas has no intention of leaving Terry out of his squad for next Saturday's tie at Loftus Road "It is our responsibility as a club to calm the situation around the game," said Villas-Boas. Chelsea and England captain Terry, who denies the allegations, is set for a hearing at West London magistrates court on 1 February. "We also want to put on a message for the media as you can do excellent work in calming things down and everyone can have an impact for just another game of football," added Villas-Boas. Terry was charged after Chelsea's 1-0 league defeat at Loftus Road on 23 October. The FA Cup tie between QPR and Chelsea will kick off at noon - partly because of police advice. I thought he may not play Terry, my God his ears are going to be riniging for a while after this incounter with the mighty hoops!
**** calm, I want the same atmosphere as the first game with as much mindless abuse hurled their way as possible. It was a great leveller last time out but given the midday kick-off it will be difficult to generate the same sort of environment.
