I expect tickets for this match will be going on sale within the next couple of weeks. I have emailed the box office tonight to ask how do we get seats sitting together. I am awaiting their reply. At the moment, we have 9 Irish R's travelling over for the match that I know of. They are; Inkedupp BelfastR Kingdom Hoop FinglasQPR FInglasQPR Nephew FinglasQPR Brother Sharon Scobyranger (Bryan from Wexford) Scobyranger Nephew If anybody else wants to join us, they are very welcome. As of now, flights with Ryanair are approximately 60 euro return. We are booked on the 07.45 hours from Dublin to London Gatwick and return on the 21.55 hours. I will let you all know what the box office say regarding tickets. I told them we have some memberships between us and that we know of ST holders. I was thinking that we might block book seats in the lower school end like we did for the Birmingham match. I don't know whether Charlton are being allocated only the upper section of the school end or whether they are taking both tiers. I am sure the box office will tell me when they respond. Would that be OK with everybody? I thought the view from there was quite good the last day.
The Box Offiice have replied that I can block book 6 tickets with each membership provided I ring them and book the tickets over the phone. If we booked online it would be one ticket per membership. I have 4 memberships so that will be sufficient to book tickets for everybody. I will pay for the tickets and you can all sort me out on the day. I expect tickets will go on sale to members Tuesday week. We just have to finalise the numbers and all systems are go so if anybody else is joining us, please let me know. Cheers.
Finglas it will be bit of a late decision if I can go or not, alot of brownie points were used up for the Brum game so have got to get back in credit again....I'll text you if I can get a day pass!!!!!
There are now 11 of us booked. I booked train tickets from Gatwick Airport return for 8 adults for £50 = £6.25 return each. They are normally £12.50 each.
Talk to me Fingy before you book the match tickets. I'm looking at getting three generations of CORKeRs over for the game. My father's a Clareman. If only he knew I just called him a CORKeR........
I thought it was cheap too. The cheapest I ever paid was about a tenner. Everybody going on the trip is booked on the train apart from me and the two teenagers who are coming.
No probs CorkeR. Jeez our numbers are growing quickly. I think the match tickets will be going on sale early next week. Your Father's a Clare man???? Glad you have at least one winner in the family! I am sure he was chuffed after Saturday.
QPRmeath on the indyrs site has also booked his flight. i told him to go to the Facebook page to let us know if he needed a ticket.
At the moment, we have 12 booked and another 4/5 possibles. I will try to book more train tickets at the best available price when I know exactly who else is coming. I will also book match tickets then. Belfast, you confirmed you will sort out your own match ticket.
Let us know where in the ground you're booking the tickets and I'm sure some of us can book in the same area like we did for the Brix meet. I look forward to seeing you all on the 23rd...
Until they go on sale that is, then i may have to come back with my tail between my legs but until then, me fein.
My Brother is a life-long Rangers fan and it was him that first took me to Loftus Rd. Unfortunately he suffered a major health problem a while ago and is lucky to still be with us truth be told. Anyway, I'm hopeful of getting him along for the Charlton game where he can regale you all with his stories of yesteryear at Rangers!
