    TEAM NEWS

QPR could be unchanged when they host Blackburn at Loftus Road in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday.

Harry Redknapp's side climbed back into the automatic promotion places with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Bournemouth in midweek.

Defender Nedum Onouha is set to miss out again with a recurrence of his hamstring problem and midfielder Alejandro Faurlin is a long-term absentee as he recovers from a cruciate injury.

Winger Junior Hoilett, who scored against the Cherries, faces his old club for the first time since he left to join Rangers in July 2012.

Blackburn's longest-serving player David Dunn, meanwhile, is back in Gary Bowyer's squad for the trip to QPR.

The Rovers midfielder missed the defeat to Ipswich in midweek as Bowyer exercised caution over the knock he picked up against Leeds the previous weekend.

Chris Taylor, a stand-out performer for Blackburn that afternoon, is also in contention again after missing some time through personal reasons and Scotland international Grant Hanley has overcome the arm injury which forced him off at Portman Road.

Adam Henley could make his first senior appearance as on-loan full-back Todd Kane has picked up five yellow cards, triggering an automatic one-game suspension, while goalkeeper Paul Robinson (back) and midfield pair Corry Evans and Dickson Etuhu (both ankle) remain absent.

    MATCH FACTS

    Head-to-head

    • There have been exactly 40 previous meetings in all competitions.
    • Their last meeting in league competition was in the Premier League in 2011/12. Blackburn won at Ewood Park, and drew at Loftus Road, but were relegated at the end of the season while QPR avoided the drop.
    • QPR have not won any of the last five meetings at Loftus Road, a winless run stretching back over 20 years. Their last home win against Rovers was a 1-0 Premier League win in November 1993, secured by a Colin Hendry own goal.

    Queens Park Rangers

    • QPR have the meanest home defence in the Championship, having conceded just two goals at Loftus Road this season. The only visiting teams to have scored there are Sheffield Wednesday and Derby, who were both beaten 2-1.
    • The only team to leave Loftus Road with a point this season are Brighton. QPR have won eight of their nine home matches collecting 25 points from a possible 27 in front of their own supporters.
    • QPR lost only three times at home the last time they were in the Championship in 2010/11, when they were promoted to the Premier League.

    Blackburn Rovers

    • Blackburn's 1-0 win over Leeds last weekend is their only win in their last four Championship matches
    • Blackburn have won just one of their nine Championship matches played away from Ewood Park. Their only win was a 3-1 victory at Bournemouth.
    • Rovers have not won any of their last four away from home
    • Here they are looking to avoid a third consecutive away defeat, having lost on the road at Brighton and Ipswich in their last two away matches.

RAF Sergeant Darren Drysdale will be the man in the middle on Saturday when QPR host Blackburn Rovers at Loftus Road.

The 42-year-old has been appointed referee for the weekends Sky Bet Championship fixture in W12.

Drysadale has been refereeing since 1988, officiating in the Northern Alliance and Northern Premier League. He became an assistant referee for the Football League in 1996, and in 1997 progressed to the Conference North as a referee.

In 1998 he was appointed as an assistant referee for the Premier League and he assisted Graham Poll in the 2000 FA Cup Final. In 2002, he became a UEFA assistant referee, one of only three from the UK at the time. He was appointed to the National List of referees in 2004.

This season Drysdale has overseen 16 matches in all competitions issuing 55 yellow cards and seven red cards. He has also awarded three penalties in those games.

Saturday will be only his second ever QPR match and his first ever visit to Loftus Road. He last oversaw on R’s fixture in April 2006 when Rangers lost 2-1m at the Madejski Stadium.

Assisting Drysdale will be Nicholas Kinseley and Richard Martin whilst Darren Blunden is on fourth official duties.

    Top job Ninesy mate <ok>

Why aren't the manager pics showing on my computer? All I get is "..." What is that all about? It is the highlight of the week ffs :)

Sounded like positive team news for Blackburn, me not like. Think I'll stand by my 2-2 prediction after reading that.

Cheers Norway. I've no idea why the manager pics aren't showing. You can see Miss Stephanie Bowyer here though...

Yes of course Kilburn, that was the game when the Rangers 'Nice one squirrel' made his appearance. It was also the only time when Chris Samba played well at Loftus Road.

To all those that are going, enjoy the game.

If anybody sees Kingdom Hoop on their travels through the pubs of West London, say Happy Birthday to him.

    Here's to 3 points.

Cheers! Perfect start to hopefully a perfect Saturday. I hope my prediction is wrong too, though a draw wouldn't be the end of the world (as long as we beat Leicester). :)

Barnsley. Off the top of my head we've won 18 of the last 20 home matches against them and drawn the other 2.
