QPR will host Premier League Crystal Palace in the third round of the 2024/25 Carabao Cup.
Former R's attacker Ebere Eze will return to MATRADE Loftus Road with his Palace team-mates during the week commencing Monday 23rd September 2024.

A confirmed date and kick-off time for this clash - as well as ticket news - will be confirmed in due course.

They were full-strength first round I believe. Expect they’ll rest a few now we’re more into the season and they’ve got United at home on the Saturday

If we get trounced 4-0 or worse by Palace, I'm just wondering what that would do to our confidence!

Also, will we continue to play our cup team or bring out more of our league first 11?

Is there any inkling when we might know the fixture date and time, as well as tickets on sale?

Palace’s website has it as the 17th at 7:45pm but yeah a bit annoying it’s not been confirmed and I really need it to not be that Wednesday.

Could also have been a 4-0 loss to Port Vale?

I’d like to think it’ll be the strongest available XI. Maybe you don’t play a player with a knock you might risk for a league game but it’s the second game after an international break with another break in October. We’ve got Millwall on the Saturday (assuming it is confirmed for the 17th) who don’t have a cup game but I’d be disappointed if we sacked it off.

Working in London on the Tuesday and Wednesday so I’ve treated myself to the cheapest room I could find within a mile of Loftus Road that doesn’t involve sharing a bunk bed. This could be my last game.

Whatever they're doing in the QPR box office, I'm certain we can't call it 'admin.'

The box office staff are genuinely very good. Quick at sorting out stuff and I’m sure it’s often people who aren’t tech-savvy with repetitive requests. The issue is always ticketmaster- a company which does one thing terribly in a monopoly.
