QPR Official Site - FOOTBALL LEAGUE STATEMENT Posted on: Fri 06 May 2011 A Football League spokesman said: "The Football League can confirm that it intends to present the npower Championship Trophy to Queens Park Rangers at the conclusion of tomorrow's fixture with Leeds United, in line with custom and practice. This decision will only be reviewed if the verdict of the ongoing FA Tribunal affects standings in the Championship table before that timehttp://www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2354420,00.html Good news. My thoughts on this now is that a decision will be made next Monday and it will be a fine as any points deduction would have to be in the Premier League, who I have a feeling wouldn't be too happy about that. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
This whole thing is stupid and has been let to get completely out of hand by the F.A. As a Football fan, I personally don't want to be champions by default. Surely the point is, has this particular player been a defining infulence in QPR's season, as Tevez was for West Ham? If he has, and that has to be proved in some way, then points should be taken off, as it's a unfair advantage, but, whoever decided to do the third party deal should also be punished. It's a complete mess and has been left far to late, it will be the supporters that suffer in the end and that is WRONG!!!! ILD CBE OTBC
Maybe thats why the decisions been delayed. They've decided it'd be too messy to dock you points now so you'll start next season with minus ten. Just a thought
