QPR to celebrate the 1982 FA Cup Final squad Paul Morrissey @PJMorrissey77 Share article: WE are delighted to announce the club will be celebrating our 1982 FA Cup final team with a special night to be hosted at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre on Thursday 17th March 2022. The event will bring together a number of the players and staff involved as we mark the 40th anniversary of our FA Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium. Peter Hucker, Bob Hazell, Gary Micklewhite and Tony Currie will take to the stage at the fantastic Lyric Hammersmith Theatre to reminisce about that great cup adventure 40 years ago. Stories, revelations and laughs are guaranteed on what we anticipate will be a fantastic evening of entertainment and nostalgia. The players will be reliving that unforgettable adventure, with more former team-mates due to be added in the coming weeks. In addition, the stars of ‘82 will be taking questions from the audience on a night that is not to be missed. Starting at just £10, tickets can be purchased via the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre by clicking HERE. This event will also serve as a fundraiser for the new community project FORWARD, to be delivered jointly by the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre and QPR Community Trust.
