The Toffees sit in fourth place after an excellent start to the season and will be looking to put some breathing space between them and the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal at this early stage of the campaign. But the Argentine believes that his side will be better suited to an attacking team, rather than a side that looks to soak up pressure and hit them on the counter-attack. âThey are playing good football but that will probably help us,â Faurlin said. âThey will come here to play football like that.â The Râs were not handed an easy start; not only facing the likes of Tottenham and Manchester City but also meeting fast-starting West Ham and West Bromwich Albion. âWe have had a difficult start to the season in terms of fixtures,â he said. âWe know if something is missing and we need to focus even more. âSometimes when we score we concede straight away. We knew the results and wins we can enjoy more. We have massive quality.â Faurlin is only just making his way again after being out for seven-and-a-half months after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury and he knows that he faces a tough task to reach full fitness. âI know this year is going to be difficult for me,â he revealed. âMy job is just focusing on working hard and giving my best to the team. âIâll leave it to the media to judge me. Iâve always been treated well. I played five or six games in a row before the break. âIn these two weeks Iâve increased the muscles in my leg.â
