http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33116332 Who next JLoyd Samuel , Stephen Bywater. Looks like they want to join up with Wigan.
Put it this way, if you thought Mutch from us was a poor signing, you'll be on antidepressants before long with this guy. Mutch has all the skills but goes missing - this guy just goes missing.
Yes. Hes useless. When I saw hed left the wurzels I thought somewhere like Barnet would be his next stop. Some players are gifted with a talent and just dont use it and go missing. JET has very very average talent and goes missing. I dont know what you did to Mutch but your talking about a huge gulf in talent between him and JET. Youd bettter hope you sign better. Hes the sort who will get you relegated.
Perhaps they will unveil our signings when they tell us who and where we are playing in Holland on our preseason tour. Talk about leaving it to the last minute - how are City fans meant to make travel and accommodation arrangements? Could be a nice few days away.
We tend to have that effect on players. Apparently Caulker was good for you two seasons ago but he was sh*te for us last year. We'll do very well to get shot of him. We managed to offload Mutch but Caulker will be hard to shift after a season like he's just had. Maybe they're not bad players but just got the QPR anti-Midas touch
According to today's Daily Mail Bournemouth want to sign Caulker and Sylvan Distin. Neither good moves in my opinion. Distin at 37 would bring experience and had a good innings at Everton but there is a good reason for Everton letting him go. With all respect to Bournemouth as a newly promoted club, Caulker would take a big risk going there. He has been relegated twice in 2 years with clubs new to the Prem. Who says lightening won't strike 3 times to enhance his Jonah reputation.
It always baffles me why clubs dive in for players from relegated sides saying they are 'too god not to play in the premier league'. If that was the case they wouldn't have been relegated. OK, you might find one or two players among a load of average players, but not a team full of 'too good.....'. Connelly has been promoted in 3 consecutive years. Could Caulker equal that in the opposite direction?
weren't they signed from clubs relegated into our division rather than into the division below. The championship might have been Hudson and Marshall's level and it might be Caulker's!
Nope, Caulker was **** for us. He can't defend. He looks pretty striding about with ball at his feet but he can't tackle, block or put his head in where it hurts. He backs off and off and off and off until he's in goal or the balls in the net. He's a **** defender and you'll be very lucky to find anyone as daft as you were to let you off the 8 m hook. Not only has he been relegated twice in 2 seasons he's been pretty much an ever present in the worst defence in the Pl statistically 2 years on the trot. SIGN HIM UP In better news I'm nowhere near as condemning about Jet. He was an Arsenal youth team player thrown into a championship playoff push. He did have his moments and he definitely has ability. I don't know if he's ready for a championship promotion push but I can see him doing a decent job for you.
Yes - because sometimes its obvious when a player technically isnt anywhere near good enough. A big bloke with little ability who id back a player half his size to win a physical battle. Also its the games against us which youd think hed have a point to prove and if anything looked even worse. Not to mention he wasnt a regular at a League 1 team who have just released him.
I guess we'll see. I think on a free transfer he's well worth a punt. Clearly has something and at times looks almost unplayable. At other times I guess he's useless but there's plenty of potential there imo. Bristol fans seemed mixed in their views.
He was unplayable for us at times. He was so bad the manager wouldn't dare play him. Absolutely unplayable!
