QPR set to miss out on Spurs defender By Jacob Murtagh Jul 20 2011 Share Add a comment Recommend QPR look set to miss out on Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Naughton after Norwich City hijacked the deal at the 11th hour. Rangers were lining up a loan move for the full-back, who played under boss Neil Warnock at Sheffield United. But Norwich look to have beaten QPR to the 22-year-old after agreeing a fee with Spurs. I've literally just read this!!!!! I have smoke coming out of my ears.................. I've already said stuff the season ticket and the membership can fook right off now. Another player lost to a club that will be challenging us for premiership survival.
disgraceful. when tarbs inevitably goes, we'll be left with an above average championship side that will be back there soon enough. i was beginning to be optimistic when bothroyd signed, but looks like we were just lucky that he was out of contract. feels like were giving up without even trying. i wonder how much longer the glass half full (or deluded) brigade can keep their spirits up for? mine has all but disappeared. living in norfolk it's not that practical/viable for me to get to more than a few games a season, but i was looking forward to a few trips down. however, why should i pay £50+ for a ticket (plus that again in travel/food) of my hard earned money when the board are not prepared to put their hands in their pockets?
Alright r's, i wouldnt worry to much over this, i cant see this happening tbh. We have a qaulity RB already plus so many versatile players who can play in that position i just dont see why there would be any point for us to move for such a player in his role position. Good luck in the coming season guys
Is it just me or are Norwich and Swansea acting like they want to stay in the Premiership whilst we do jack s**t? Do we have some kind of death wish?
Keep calm Swords, Tarbs hasn't gone yet. Saying that, I'm getting really really ****ed off with the guys in charge and their no spend philosophy, ****ers.
Not sure I agree with my fellow City fan regarding not needing Naughton. Lambert has said he wants one more player and hinted he would be a defensive player. We have 4 centre backs, 2 left backs and 2 right backs. However, the 2nd right back is a young player that has little or no first team experience. So, in my opinion, if we are to sign one more defensive player, it would be a right back. Whether or not this story is just made up bull remains to be seen.
I cant believe this. Anyone want to buy my season ticket? There is no way we are staying up with this team. We were outplayed by Plymouth for gods sake and that was most of our first team. Who cares if its pre-season or not. We should still look better then them. The first 11 that played yesterday is pretty much our first 11. Unless we get it 4 or 5 quality players we'll do worse than Derby.
its a shame that we as fans, cannot get a vote of "No confidence" at the board and owners. What I don't understand is the following: Bernie and Flav, no matter what we think of them have been successful in sport so why don't they eiher put up or go forth?
