QPR Seeking Last Minute Hijack Of Steven Pienaar Deal? The Râs have already shown the ability to capture in demand stars this transfer window with the capture of Junior Hoilett from Blackburn, and Tutto Mercato Web are suggesting that QPR are ready to battle Everton for Pienaar. When Tony Fernandes took over the boardroom at QPR the signings of Premiership regulars such as Shaun Wright-Philips and Joey Barton soon followed and the club looked to be showing all the signs of becoming a mid table side. However after a promising start The Râs found themselves embroiled in a tense relegation battle come the final day of last season and the signings made so far this pre-season suggest they have no intention of this being repeated next season. Pienaar looked better than ever during his return to Goodison park and if QPR could tempt him into signing it would arguably be their most impressive bit of business to date, and after beating of an array of more established clubs in the race for Hoilett you wouldnât back against them. Everton however do still appear to be Pienaarâs favoured destination with David Moyes stating in a Liverpool Newspaper: âIâm sure we would all here like to keep Steven Pienaar. He has told me he wants to stay.â Money though often talks in football and thatâs an area where QPR seem to pack a stronger punch than The Toffees.
Just what we need, another midfielder!. Big CB and a decent Left back please first. If we need another CM,we should get a strong holding CM. Im not sure what Piannar actually does?. Not many goals,no pace, not a striker and not really a winger!.
i dont rate him either and why would be want him just 2 days after we signed Hoilett? It looks like an agent trying to drum up more wages for his client by telling other clubs QPR are interested.
I'm the same indifferent; also disinterested uninterested and seething with rampant apathy about this one.
Super spot on pal we need a big CB to complete what is looking to be a very strong squad..... How picky am I asking now for a decent CB - oh how the times have changed for the better..... Although I did love the lower league days with Birch, Langley, Gallen and co 
Jesus christ did you guys see any Everton games last year? Anyway he's pretty much a done deal for us.
More paper rubbish I reckon - we've got our midfielder sorted. He was great from the moment you got him on loan and he'll be brilliant for you guys again, especially once him and Baines get the pre-Spurs telepathy going once more and we were never in the mix anyway I suspect. Good luck for the season (my best mate's a toffee so Everton are my second favourite team).
