Well, I'm not local to those parts but I'll make a wild guess that the NIMBYs are messing up a deal the local council made sure had benefits to the community.

Ultimately, it'll be those same complainants that lose out in the long run.

I thought wed won the last hurdle?

Maybe we just don't want to spend the money on it or possibly he believes there no chance of the Tories winning the council election and labour said they'd cancel it if they got in.

A fantastic result for the local people, bringing up children near Warren Farm. They have saved the area from becoming a state of the art sports complex available for the community and it can remain a huge toilet for the local dogs to sh*t in.

I got criticised when I said we are worse off than when tf took over.
People said what about the stadium and training ground. I said I'd feel better when the first brick is laid.

If this falls through, are we going to get a new ground or is everything smoke and mirrors.

Sorry mate but that does not make sense. A business decision was made and reviewed in the light of developments (NIMBYs + a fresh look at Harlington with seemingly good co-operation from Imperial) and an alternative plan emerges that seems just as good and probably a whole lot more cost effective.

I don't see smoke and mirrors. I see good business sense releasing more capital to invest in players.

I agree with this. The locals will get what they deserve: continuing use of a dog toilet for their children to play in.

Personally I've always been far more interested in a new stadium. Someone needs to go and put a rocket under that so-called R's supporting dick who owns Car Giant.

It's frustrating to see us blocked at every turn while Brentford and Barnet push on with redevelopment within our catchment area.

We've cleared the last hurdle. We are free to build but he's had second thoughts, the nimbys are just an excuse.

I think TF is short of money, he sold caterham a couple of weeks ago and Malaysian airlines aren't exactly in a good way at the moment.

Fernandes' net worth is $615m, up 50% from when he bought QPR. He just got pissed off with F1, after years of no progress. Fernandes runs Air Asia, he got out of partnership with Malaysian a few years ago. Air Asia had profits of £111m in 2013.

Why not do a tiny bit of research before you post this stuff?

Seems like he just got bored with Warren Farm dragging on, plus there have already been significant investments in Harlington, to transform it from the disgrace that the former regime let it become.

Ha, ha definitely not at work, especially that 1st ad, where Big Brother (IT) is likely monitoring, so they're probably on to me as I speak!

With auto logon, I was just surprised seeing that additional ad content.

I think he will be looking at the Malaysian airline situation almost rubbing his hands in anticipation of the business that will come his way as a result of this tragedy. Just a different way of looking at the same situation.

Maybe, I'm not sure if his business will suffer because people will stop travelling or it will get better as they won't use Malaysian airlines.
He doesn't seem like the type who would let that enter his mind,he's not Bernie!

That's not right mate. It was the Labour Council who approved the development.
