Stan lit up Loftus Road for the best part of a decade, where his silky skills and brilliant rapport with the crowd earned him legendary status long before his playing days were over. Sadly, Stan was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease earlier this year and the QPR podcast would like to do its bit for him and his family by holding a special raffle to raise money for Stan’s ongoing care. For a donation of £5 you will be entered into a draw to win a host of top prizes, with the winners drawn at random. All proceeds will be split between the Bowles family fund that looks after Stan’s daily welfare & ongoing care and the Alzheimer’s Society, the UK’s leading dementia support and research charity, to help raise awareness of the disease.
