Is it only me who gets annoyed when articles from Fernadez are exclusive to QPR Player? Today's 'Funds will be available' effort is particularly frustrating. I pay plenty for my season ticket Tony so I would have thought the least you could do is let me know what value I can expect from that investment without having to pay for the privilege. Bit like walking into a bank and them saying you can only find out what your balance is if you pay us extra.
Yeah, if we want to reach to Asia then the QPR player should be free. I think youd have to be a mug to pay for in in the PL as all games are online and its a rip off to charge whatever they do for a few interviews. Ive noticed theyve stopped doing the stories that go along with interviews as well so I usually dont bother with the site.
No, it's not just you. I guess that it's probably the same for most other clubs though. As far as I can workout the company that does the official website and makes all the "Player" content also does the exact same kind of stuff for about 90% of other clubs across all the leagues, and I guess that they demand a certain amount of exclusive content in order to make the platform attractive to punters and so make a profit. Personally I'd rather the whole thing was brought in-house and more content was made available free of charge. Do the exlsive videos ever get pirated and posted for free anywhere? ... Not that I'd condone such a thing of course.
The sad thing is we were allowed to leave them this summer and have our own site, I hope we havent got another contract with them as they are awful. Every team thats left them has ended up with a much better site.
