QPR need their key players to âturn upâ for the play-offs if they are to stand a chance of winning promotion, goalkeeper Rob Green has admitted. Read on http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-wls-qpr-need-key-players-to-turn-up-for-the-play-offs-says-keeper-green Do I get the feeling that Rob is having a sly dig at a few players here?
Every week they spout this crap, every week its another random team and another dire performance. Its not individual performances, its the tactics, instructions, training and management.
I beginning to believe it so also bully boy. We have so many points only by few players individual skill and even fewer players guts. Barton, Hill, Morrison. Simpson, Phillips, Green and Austin (maybe Onuoha) have made the difference between us and midtable.
i meet a guy in the pub this weekend who said he meet the qpr team this season. he was invited by harry after he wrote to him about an illness his son had. The guy said out of the whole team SWP was surprisingly the nicest and Rob Green was a twat, who did not give the time of day and wouldnt even say hello. Maybe not the nicest of chaps after all
I've met Rob, seemed a very nice bloke and talked very openly and honestly. I did get the impression he's quite a quiet bloke.
The consensus seems to be that Green's had a terrific season. I would dispute that somewhat. Yes he had a great early part to the season when we were keeping clean sheets but eventually the clangers started coming and we've had a few of them. Not all of them have ended up in the net but that, allied to his poor distribution (nearly gave away two goals at Leicester and passed one straight to a Watford player yesterday) leaves me far from convinced about this guy. I think he's a decent Championship keeper but, like fatty Kenny, he'd struggle at the top. How on earth did he get 12 England caps?
