I remember it well. I was a steward at the time (I controlled the gate from the Lower Loft in the Ellerslie road corner). I used to get paid to sit on the pitch and watch the games, I was also a member of the LSA and I knew the pitch invasion was going to happen. At the alloted time I removed my high vis and joined in with the invasion, when it was time to leave the pitch I put my high vis back on and tried to look as if I was trying to clear the pitch. Happy days
I was on the pitch that day. Wasn't it against Man City if my memory is correct ? I scanned the pics in the paper the morning after but couldn't see myself, only my brothers head and I I ly noticed that 'cos he's a Ginger
I had it in mind it was against Leeds. I was a nipper, but I was there, in the paddock. I'm sure someone will clear it up. (the opposition, that is, not the paddock)
Ha Ha, that's brilliant Gaz. I can't remember it very well but I must have been there as I went to them all back then. Funnily enough I remember the last home game against Leeds in the 75/76 season and I was only 12 then!
