QPR may consider offers for keeper Murphy 26/09/2012 by David McIntyre QPR could consider allowing third-choice goalkeeper Brian Murphy to leave on loan even though he is part of their 25-man squad. Mark Hughes planned to loan out the Irishman prior to including him rather than Radek Cerny in the squad submitted to the Premier League earlier this month. And the Rangers boss could still let Murphy go on a short-term deal if the right offer came in. Hughes told West London Sport: âWeâve got very good keepers and we obviously canât leave ourselves exposed if they get injured. âHaving said that, if we can see a solution that will enable Brian to have some games then we will investigate it. âBrianâs done great. Itâs been really hard on him because bringing in Julio Cesar and Rob Green has impacted on him. His attitude has been first class.â
It will be good for him to go out on loan ... as long as we have a call back clause in case of emergency.
I would have thought Green should go on loan first. But maybe Green will be sold January, if some Club is looking for a bit more entertainment at the back. Keep a clean sheet tonight Mr Green!
