QPR lower Adel Taarabt asking price as Milan consider move By Jack Watson Posted on July 27, 2014 Premier League new-boys Queens Park Rangers have lowered their asking price for attacking midfielder Adel Taarabt as Italian giants AC Milan consider making a bid, according to The Times. Taarabt, 25, spent the second half of last season on loan with Milan and was fantastic for the Italians as they made a late push for a Europa League spot in Serie A. Ultimately, they missed out but the midfielder impressed enough for Milan to continue their interest in him, and enough to make them think about a permanent transfer. The 25-year-old spent the first half of last season playing for Fulham as they struggled to fight off relegation. Taarabt struggled as he looked unwilling to aid the fight against the drop as he returned to QPR just after Christmas and then made the move to Italy with Milan. He failed to score for the Cottagers in 12 matches but picked up four goals in 14 Serie A games and even assisted one goal, showing a clear improvement as the attacking midfielder finally looked happy after a couple of years of struggling. QPR are open to letting him go with Harry Redknapp keen to cut ties so are awaiting a bid from Milan. DONE READING?
