    Celebration time: For Michael Harriman
It's fair to say Garry Thompson will owe Wycombe Wanderers team-mate Michael Harrriman a drink following tonight's win over Cambridge United.
Thompson's missed penalty midway, where he almost passed the ball back to Cambridge sub keeper Sam Beasant, looked to have cost Wanderers dear.
Beasant, whose dad Dave famously saves a penalty in the 1988 FA Cup Final, made a far more comfortable stop with his first touch after coming on, with starting number one Chris Dunn having been sent off for bringing down Gozie Ugwu following a poor back header.

However, the penalty miss was soon forgotten when, on 69 minutes, Harriman unleashed a belter from almost 30 yards out which flew into Beasant's top corner.
The QPR loanee had threatened similar not long before, striking the angle of the post and crossbar with an equally ambitious effort from near the right hand touchline.
Marcus Bean, whose follow up header from that effort was well saved by Beasant, was next to strike the woodwork moments later when the ball fell kindly for him on the edge of the area, but came back off the bar.

By that time, Wycombe could have been a goal down when Robbie Simpson missed with a free header from point blank range following a cross swung in from the left.
All this excitement followed a pretty dull first hour or so, in which the closest the deadlock came to being broken was another Harriman long-ranger being tipped around the post by Dunn, and a mus-hit cross from Stephen McGinn also having to be helped over by the custodian before his early shower.
Ugwu and Luke O'Nien also went close for the hosts late on, but the one goal, coupled with Exeter's win at previous leaders Portsmouth, was enough to send Wycombe top of League Two.

Thank God we've got Perch there instead. An attacking full-back from our youth academy scoring goals and creating chances is the last thing I want to see.

Interestingly he seems to be playing in midfield mostly there and doing very well.
