Mauro Zarate is being hunted by Mark Hughes as the new QPR boss seeks to kickstart his Loftus Road revolution. Hughes is eager to bring in more firepower and sources in Italy claim he has set his sights on Lazio star Zarate, who is currently on loan at Inter Milan. It appears, however, that Lazio are open to the prospect of selling Zarate in the transfer window and that has alerted Hughes, who will be backed by investment from majority shareholder Tony Fernandes. The striker has experience of English football from his time at Birmingham and Newcastle, and was linked with a move to Arsenal last summer. Bolton are also thought to be monitoring the situation. Zarate, 24, is understood to be keen on a return to England although Lazio are hoping that interest from numerous Premier League clubs will help push his price up. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/1470/51/qpr-lead-chase-lazio-star?
