both millwall and qpt had scottish starts in the career,millwall used to have the scottish flag on there shirts but qpr started off in green and white hoops so we thought it was a good idea to lauch green and white as out third kit the qpr fans ,loved it because rangers traditonally we had always played in blue and white so we sign ray wilkins from rangers the first game of the season we play middlesbro three coach loads of rangers decide to come and support qpr to say thankyou to ray wilkins THEY GO TO THE QPR FAN PUB TO BE CONFRONTED WITH MANY QPR WEARING GLASGOW CELTIC SHIRTS WITH QPR BADGES ON THEM THE RANGERS FANS WROTE TO OUR CLUB TO COMPLAIN BUT THAT WAS THE END OF QPRS FRIENDSHIP WITH GLASGOW RANGERS
