Tottenham have told QPR they want £8m to sell Alex Pritchard and are reluctant to let him leave on loan.

West London Sport recently revealed that Rangers were hoping to sign the 23-year-old on loanwith a view to a permanent transfer.

But Spurs are not keen and Rangers are one of several Championship clubs hoping a loan deal does become an optionif Pritchard is not sold.

QPR are more optimistic of completing a deal to sign Iceland forward Jon Dadi Bodvarsson from Kaiserslautern before next weekend’s Championship opener against Leeds United.

The R’s were in action on Saturday, beating Watford 2-0 in a friendly at Loftus Road, where Conor Washington scored his first goal for the club.

Boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink nevertheless warned that Washington faces a battle to secure a place up front.

Hasselbaink has also made it clear that he is not looking to sign a midfielder following the recent news that new signing Ariel Borysiuk will be sidelined for six weeks.

One thing you can be sure of buying from Spurs is that any player will be grossly overpriced, especially since Levi got mugged on the sell-on for Adel...

As i said the deals will always favour them. Move on and let Levi pay for him sitting in the reserves.

doesn't the player only have a year left on his contract? If so maybe we should just wait. Then again, IF he isn't really what is needed then look elsewhere
