I was just having a gander on the NewsNow QPR page and stumbled across this article from the Mirror.

Thought I'd share it for anyone who may not have read it. I like our Rob!

Former England international signed a new contract only after being promised he'd remain first choice on Hoops' return to the top flight.

Let's hope he doesn't have one of his existential goalkeeping crises then.

Green is an England international, who stuck with us in the Championship whilst others disappeared as we were below them. I'd say reward him and give him a gaurantee of the no. 1 spot...and tell Cesar to use his superstar status to find another place to play.

If it meant first team football rather than being on the bench while Cesar flaps around and can't be arsed when he's not heard of the team he's playing, probably.

Rubbish..the same Cesar that flapped around in the Quarter finals of the World Cup you mean...?

Im behind Green, but only an idiot ( no sorry i meant no offence) would think Gren is a better keeper...

hes with us as no-one (not even inj the NPC) wanted him...full stop !

His contract was up. If we didn't want him he'd have been released.

Cesar got incredibly lucky at this World Cup due to over-protection from referees- his mistakes in the Croatia game really should have caused a loss in the first game. He's the better shot-stopper of the two but apart from that he is an extremely poor goalkeeper. His command of his area, communication (possibly language issues), distribution, bravery etc. are all very poor.

In the English leagues, for me, Green is more suited. Add to that that he's a popular member of the squad while someone like Cesar is clearly not one to roll up his sleeves when the going gets tough and I see no logical argument for not preferring Green.

Cesar is the better Keeper. Green should start because he did well at the end of last season and based on that it's his place at season start. But he's got no God given right to it and needs to have strong competition to keep his place as averyone else. We need 2 good players for every position including Keeeper. If Cesar or possibly another Keeper come in, and play better than Green, he should be benched like anyone else.

absolute garbage..I suppose he was protected akl those years he won th numerous titles then?

What a ridiculous post. green wil get found out badly at this level and only survived the NPC because of the Dunne-Hill partnership
a very average keeper proven by the fact that Kasper was Keeper of the league by a long way

I can almmost garantee that the green lovers will be calling for his head by Xmas and want Cesar in,.....Do you actually know anything about Cesar's past ?
