It appears QPR are planning a massive clear-out of their squad, no matter what happens to them on Sunday. As our current manager was also manager of QPR not so long ago, I wonder if he will be waiting to look at the players released by the club, in order to bring them in (without a fee) to Leeds. :emoticon-0112-wonde

Edit: We all know the Paddy Kenny, Clint Hill and Shaun Derry rumours, anybody else?

Edit Again: Patrick Agyemang, Radek Cerny, Lee Cook, Kieron Dyer, Danny Gabbidon, Fitz Hall, Peter Ramage and Danny ****tu and are all out of contract at the end of the season.

Attempts are also likely to be made to sell Angelo Balanta, Matt Connolly, Troy Hewitt, Rob Hulse and Brian Murphy, while the futures of Jay Bothroyd, Clint Hill and Heidar Helguson are in doubt

Edit Yet Again: Wasn't Brian Murphy that chap in George and Mildred? He's come along way from his acting days!

no as he's been in the team but if they stay up they might want to go for a more high profile striker..

Might end up with 3 ex portsmouth and 3 ex qpr players at this rate, would make a little sense as it would help the need for the team to gel.

Barton could be in even more trouble after posting some stuff at Alan Shearer on his twitter page, the lad has problems and it's clearly going to take more than a few weeks of suspension from the football field to support him.

Barton's various tweets: He posted: "Shearers still on my case... I know I f***** up Alan, thanks for stating the obvious.
"Whilst were both stating the obvious about each other, can I just say for the record what a great player u were. Well better me...
"But I have a better hair (which is not hard), wear well better shirts on TV and have a personality (something u lack).
    "P.S. My final point, ur a s*** pundit/manager...
"I really don't like that p****, in fact I honestly despise him... Goodnight."

"I'd take it off Hansen and @GaryLineker but not from that bell, same fella that stamped on Neil Lennon, then threatened FA if they banned him."

So what's wrong with the tweets? Not defamatory or aimed at an official. I rather liked them. Can't stand Shearer. You missed the kicking of Lennon's head & threatening the FA tweets too.

I would suggest that QPR will not like his tweets and will take action against him for them. Barton himself appears to have psychological issues and particular anger management problems, perhaps due to his apparent dislike of not getting his own way, it is for that I suggested he needs support, which is going to take more than a few weeks suspension from a football field. As for Shearer, I agree with you, can't stand the f****** C***

QPR can only take action if he's breached a 'no tweets' rule. He's done nothing illegal.
