QPR have been offered the opportunity to sign Roman Pavlyuchenko in January

    QPR have been offered the opportunity to sign Roman Pavlyuchenko in January, the Spurs striker’s agent has claimed.

    The Russia international has been consistently linked with a move away from White Hart Lane when the transfer window reopens, with Lokomotiv Moscow widely tipped to be a possible destination.

    However, Oleg Artemov has now said the player has been offered to Tottenham’s London Premier League rivals, although the 29-year-old hasn’t considered it yet.

    “That is true that Tottenham have turned to QPR,” Artemov told sovsport.ru.

    “I know about it. The club has a right to do so as they have a contract with Roman.

    “Before talking about it – if Roman wants to be a QPR player or not – we have to consider every detail. Roman hasn’t thought about it yet.”

    IMO this raise the question of Defoe again. Spuds are hardly going to sell him and Pavlyuchenko.

    I think Pav is one of them players who needs a lot of chances to score but in recent reports QPR have been linked with Pav and Defoe from spuds and Zamora and Johnson from Fulham if we had to buy 2 of the 4 it would be Zamora and Defoe for me but don't see us getting them it will probably be the other 2.

    The only consistent thing about Pavlyuchenko is the consistent way he is being linked to other clubs.

    Bothroyd's been pretty disappointing. Keep waiting for him to do something special, or even competent, although nice header v City.

    Oh yeah that was right it was Pavlyuchenko not Defoe as I was told ... I knew it was a creamy dessert with meringue naturally thought he meant Defoe pudding ... Pleasant end to any dinner party
