    QPR remain cautious over keeper

NEIL Warnock admits QPR have ‘wrapped Radek Cerny in cotton wool’ in fear of losing their last available keeper to injury.

The 37-year-old was called up for only his second game of the season in the 1-1 draw against West Brom on Saturday, with the knowledge that had the Czech been forced off, his replacement was straight out of Conference South football.

Elvis Putnins was plying his trade with Boreham Wood just over a week ago, and Warnock admits putting the Latvian between the sticks is plain unfair on him and the club.

Cerny has been reduced to light training after both Paddy Kenny and Brian Murphy suffered long setbacks within minutes of each other at Stoke two weeks ago.

Kenny played in the 3-2 win, but was later diagnosed with a side muscle tear, and Warnock is praying the Premier League finally see ‘common sense’ after they refused to sanction a loan keeper.

“We don’t want to sign Petr Cech,” said Warnock, “we just want adequate cover because it’s not fair on the other lads if they go in and make a mistake.

“I would hope we would get better from the Premier League should we need their help – but around there, common sense has been in short supply.”

because the fa know your lying. if they allowed you to bring in another keeper you will then drop cerny and play him.

so why have a 3rd keeper if u dont think hes good enough.

you have him and a kid. thats enough for now so get on with it.

im sure if cerny got hurt then the fa will help u

although if it was man u or man c they would get help lol

KCSPURS you twit. What we are on about is that Cerny is not 100% fit and his cover was at Boreham Wood. So answer me this....is it fair for a Conference South Goalkeeper to have to come on in the Prem and maybe not be able to cope? No disrepect to Putnins but it could affect him badly if it all went wrong.
So we will swap him with Brad F and let you have Mr P as cover for Gomez.
So if you can't say anything constructive go back to the Spurs' site. Or have they banned you for being a plonker.
