QPR fans have completely disappeared from the Chelsea board. I know they liked giving it the biggun with you guys, andSwansea, about how your relative teams would do in the Premiership. Have they melted from your board too? PS Good turnout and noise from you boys at our place this season. Good luck until May.
Had one on here hilariously on Saturday when I said they are ****ed giving it the bigun This was before villa scored again Haven't seen any since surprisingly. Can't wait for them to go down. Christmas Day for me.
It's kind of a clash of culture in that they were given all the money and have squandered it while we have built sensibly with the smaller amount of cash. They won the championship when we went up with a sort of Ineligible player in faurlin, which was whitewashed by the FA. And we don't like anyone in blue and white. That's about it I guess.
We have been largely vermin free this season other than WBA2QPR3 who makes frequent star appearances but he is okay, one of the nice guys Like Beefy says, he gives it the big un' but I believe he does it with his tongue planted firmly in his cheek when doing it such as his full of "world class talent" jibes when describing his team Why this has changed from last season I have no idea but very few of us go to their board anymore either because it just isn't worth trying to have a conversation with many, more so when they are down on their luck and licking their wounds. Not complaining mind, probably for the best for both of us If/when they go down, I am sure they will rediscover their cockiness over the summer as they are going to walk away with the Championship
EC Winner bor, one of the main reasons we don't see eye to eye with QPR fans is their idea of a God given right to laud it over us. Forgive the pun, but they didn't know how to win their Spurs and were outGunned in the Premier despite having a vast financial pot. Perhaps they ate too many Chelsea buns. LOL. They certainly got Hammered in the Premier. Thanks for the good wishes, they are reciprocated. That is until next season!!!
The vitriol really started in the Championship, when they got it in their heads that Norwich fans wanted them docked points over Fuarlin, when in fact we consistently said we would not want to win the Championship on the back of them losing points.
I think it's because some of their fans reckoned they'd be in the champions League in a couple of years having purchased so much 'wct' (world class talent) with TF footing the bill. Doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon and they could be heading for the drop come May. I feel sorry for fans such as WBA2QPR3, as he seems to a 'true fan' and have always had good banter with him.
I would have loved to have won the championship at their expense. They football league whitewashed it because thy knew they'd have to give points back for every game he'd been in and it would get very messy. I still remember how they announced it during the last game to bury the story. It was a shambles, but I don't care that much as look at what's happened. We all predicted it! Remember how exited they were to sign Shaun wright-Phillips and Kieron dyer?? We all knew it'd go tits up and it has.
a lot of them on their board seem reasonable, quite a lot have a dislike of norwich (is it rangerscol?) at least we didn't start this thread (not obsessed) they will be back (if they go down)
The reason I dislike them is because of the continued stereotypical insults, 'carrot cruchers', 'inbreds' etc. etc. I can only speak for myself, but the nearest I've been to farm is looking out of the car window while driving along the A47 ! Oh, and my mother's family's roots are from Ireland, my father's from down south and I married a girl from yorkshire so is that 'inbred' ??
The only things that I know that are "inbred" are flour, yeast, water, preservatives .... any others ?
I'm not too unhappy being called a "carrot cruncher!" After all, Lincolnshire, where most of the carrots are grown, is right next door to Norfolk! For them, that is quite accurate!
My dislike only manifested itself once TF came in - i used to be quite fond of them going back to the trevor sinclair days - and how previously decent posters turned into arrogant weapons overnight - or more accurately, once I started to read how Norwich and Swansea would be spat out of the premier league with our scrap change - leaving them to storm the league/europe with their vast wealth, on their path to becoming a global brand. You can't discuss anything worthwhile with them on here - they genuinely think/thought everyone jealous of what they had - and if you tried to raise a debate, perhaps on the wisdom of signing a 31 year on 80k a week, you were just jealous. This crap about Norwich fans wanting a points deduction in our promotion year is just laughable. Who would want to win like that? But let them get on with it if that's what they want to believe. Their dislike of us and the Swans really just comes from the simple fact we've been proved right in our assertion that our clubs were doing things the right way, and theirs wasn't. What else...oh, their insults. Nothing more boring and predictable than reading something about six fingers. Lastly Colin - i can't help but like the guy - he fights for his team, whoever they are and even if he knows he is talking **** and in the wrong - and I find something admirable in that - cant help but think he got a seriously unfair ride having got them up. He's getting on and deserved his crack at the (certainly over mark Hughes) before he called it a day. I pop over to their board from time to time - just to lurk if I'm feeling a bit meh - I can recommend it.
