Lee Hoos and Andy Sinton talk about the managerial situation, the shift in expectation, Warren Farm, Old Oak Common and FFP.
Thanks for posting 9's I think he speaks well, a certain amount of management speak but that's to be expected. Looked a little shifty after the Stan questions turned into the usual forum interrogation session. He coped well, will do a far better job than his predecessor. Sinton looked very engaged and seems happy to be turning his hand to anything required. It's the hope that that kills ya.
My God, Lee Hoos can talk. But then, in the last half hour, some of the fans present more than match him, they go on and on, making the same point over and over again. Having said all that, I think Lee comes across really well. He knows what he is talking about, appears very professional, is realistic and doesn't seem willing to make promises that he can't keep. It's good to have someone so well qualified in day-to-day control.
Will listen to this at some point when I have time. Would I be right to assume a lot of it is individual fans complaining about incredibly trivial issues like the Ellerslie Road bogs or the price of programmes.
The Ellerslie Road bogs may be trivial to you, mate, but there's only so long I can hold my breath while having a pee
No, it's better organised than that. The first hour covers the four big issues: the manager, the change in target for the season, Warren Farm/Old Oak Common and FFP. All this is with limited questions from the floor. The last half hour is Q&A, with some questions from the floor and some distilled from social media and other feedback. The last half hour does become a little repetitive but the issues are significant (e.g. scouting, youth development and retention, Stan) rather than trivial.
Oh dear. Am I the only one who isn't impressed with Hoos? Comes across as a dodgy used car salesman to me. Full of bullshit. Hope I'm wrong and it's just his demeaner that is putting me off.

There is a lot in there I like...and Lee Hoos comes over very well (yes I know he is paid too). I hope he stays and sorts out the things he says he will "they would rather deal with the current badge for another year and get it right. That's been taken back to the board." Now that is sense "One supporter raised a point about the discounted match tickets and free coach travel that was often available last season hasn’t been continued this. LH said: “The Premier League give you £200,000 to do it.". .... In our current world of club debt.....again that makes sense. "A good ten minutes of the evening, in the questions from the floor section, was spent criticising the club for not doing enough for Stan Bowles following his Alzheimer’s diagnosis".. Clive criticises the people who pushed on wrt this, and explains his point of view. In my opinion , he is quite right with the criticism of the fans here... From the people who went, it sounded quite a turgid evening, I am glad Clive has cut it down to small managable chunks for us
Seems from afar that the Club has done a lot with Stan since that diagnosis. Seen him on the pitch on Sky 2 or 3 times, and read a lot more. Don't understand the criticism but them I'm miles away.
