ok, plenty said about saturday on here, but just wanted to share a thought. Sadly I was driving to Worthing Saturday afternoon (using a 40th birthday party as a perfect excuse for a child free saucy weekend with Mrs Jalfrezi) and had Radio 5 Live on the stereo. What came over the speakers on the 19th minute was amazing. The commentator even felt he had to mention how good it was to see QPR fans showing their support for Petrov. Sadly, this seems to have been missed by most, if not all, of the press. OK, most team's fans probably join in with Villa fans on the 19th minute, but I wonder how many of them would if they were in our position. Yeah we lost, yeah it dont look great, but hey things like that continue to make me feel proud to be a Rangers fan. You guys there did us all proud.
I was there, and it was great to see. No matter what our fans have done us proud this season travelling in numbers despite the dross largely served up on the pitch.
Nice one Jalfrezi, that's a great point about our fantastic away support. The gesture is sadly avoided by those out there who wish us ill.
our fans are second to none. I went to the pub before the game where i bumped into many old faces that go home and away every week. i had some great chats with many rangers and was pretty wrecked before a ball was kicked. Sadly (or lucky for me) you couldn't get a beer in the ground and i had to continue the chats after even though we lost. AS i said to a Saints fan earlier that we may only get 15/16K home fans but we normally have a good turn out away. How many other clubs would take 4K to a pre season friendly in mid week? Top fans we have
