    • She will be joined by 63 other football fans
QPR fan Felicity Dyndor will be singing ‘Abide With Me’ at Wembley on Saturday before the FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Aston Villa takes place.

FAMILY SING-SONG: Felicity (far right) pictured at Wembley in 2014 with her mum, sister, and dad

The lucky football fans, who are a mix of male and female supporters with ages ranging from early 20s right up to 100, will all be representing their football clubs as they join with The Band of The Brigade of Gurkhas.
Each fan represents one of the 64 teams who were involved in this year’s third round in the FA Cup.
Over 1,300 people applied to take part in the unique experience to sing ‘Abide with Me’, which has become a constant fixture since it was first sung at the FA Cup Final in 1927.
Felicity, 31, who has only ever sung in her school choir, entered the Songs of Praise competition by writing a short piece on what the FA Cup means to her – and her story can be found

    Good for Felicity.

I had my afternoon planned out, lounging in front of the Cup Final with a cold beer or two. Only to find out that the kick off isn't until 5.30. Why, what's wrong with 3.00? Oh yeah, better timing for America and the Far East.......

The way the headline sounded to me was that she was singing solo, not amongst a crowd of 64 people. It's like saying there will be a QPR fan at Wembley watching the Cup Final along with 90,000 other people. No?

You can always tune in to the Scottish Cup Final! Starts at 3, English cup final at 5:30, German (Dortmund v W Bremmen) at 7.00, Spanish final at 8:30 (Barca v Ath Bilbao)

It's actually harder to sing in front of a few people, some of whom may know you, than it is in front of thousands (although I recognise that there is also a viewing audience of tens of millions!!).

    Break a leg Felicity.

3-0 to Arsenal with 30 minutes to go, a completely dominant display and some great individual performances, especially for me Ozil, who is simply a sublime player. Villa one attempt at goal, none on target so far, nice one Tim.

I watched a few bits - what a snore bore - apart from keeping Villa up, TS hasn't really progressed Villa much.

Arsenal were superb!! Buy a keeper and a couple of defenders and they could challenge for the title imo.

No class Dim Tim with one hand in this pocket as he collects his losers medal and shakes hands with Prince William.
