The 24-year-old was left out of City's pre-season tour to America and was not included in their squad for the recent Dublin Super Cup. But Onuoha is determined to prove himself at City - the club where he has spent his entire career. A number of clubs are known to be keen on landing Onuoha, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland. QPR were looking at a possible loan, but their enquiry was rebuffed last month by the player as Onuoha feels he still has a future at City and is looking stay put. ======================================== Deluded? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_7077358,00.html
Unambitious, if you ask me. He's never going to break into the City team either sat on the bench or in the reserves - so basically he's happy to take their dollar and make no effort. Which in itself is a metaphor for all that's wrong with City / Chelski and all the other sides (including possibly Sunderland this year). There is simply too much money flowing at some clubs, and it means that sub-standard players can mint it whilst doing nothing whatsoever. Sidwell was a case in point at Chelski - crap player, and as a benchwarmer, I could have saved them a fortune buying some cushions at Homebase. I wouldn't want him unless he wants to play - and he sounds like he wants Tuesday evenings and weekends off....
@OrigamiNinja79 Oninja Onouha turns down #qpr. Wants to fight for place at #mcfc. Maybe you should have thought of that Ned before slating Mancini on soccer am!
Wait till he starts getting splinters in his arse then he'll change his mind. He did last season......
