Queens Park Rangers are understood to be lining up a move for young non-league midfielder Callum Chettle. The highly rated 19-year-old, son of Nottingham Forest legend Steve, is currently playing for Ilkeston FC in the Northern Premier League, who he joined after leaving Forest's academy at the age 15. Chettle featured in the England C squad for their 2-1 defeat of the Ireland U21's and news of his call-up alerted Football League clubs, such is the rarity of a player outside the Football Conference receiving such recognition. Both Premier League and Championship sides appear to be taking a keen interest in securing his services, but it appears QPR are in pole position to snap up the midfielder.
