    QPR defender sidelined until December

FITZ Hall faces up to six weeks on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday's defeat at Spurs.

The QPR defender lasted just nine minutes before limping out of the action at White Hart Lane as Rangers went down 3-1.

Hall has been plagued by a hamstring problem during the past year, spending a lengthly spell on the treatment table last season.

The former Wigan and Crystal Palace centre-back faces at least four weeks out, and is another blow for the 30-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Akos Buzsaky has moved to distance himself from quotes attributed to him that suggested he was set to go under the knife to cure a troublesome knee problem.

He said: "No one's contacted me from the newspaper. I was in the squad for every game and it demonstrates that my operated knee doesn't affect me in matches anymore.

"But this week my Achilles tendon has inflamed a bit, so I'll receive an injection in it so I won't be in the squad to play against Manchester City on Saturday."

It was only a matter of time before one size got injured again! How's Connelly doing?

    Haven't heard, that's gone quiet.
    Liability.
You're kidding, we're down to the bare bones in the C/B position.
Gabbidon is another sicknote and I hope Anton doesn't get injured, could end up a crisis!

Thinking about it, it was a miracle that One Size lasted until Gabbidon was fit again. That said, I'm yet to be convinced about Gabbidon.

Compared to the alternatives, Gabbi is a veritable Maldini. Roll on the transfer window.

It is amazing how we see things differently isn't it? I think Gabbidon had looked very good before his injury and most people on here were praying he'd get fit double quick!
Northy's right though, we need Hill and Connelly as CB cover and GOD HELP US if Ferdy gets injured!!

You are not saying Gabbidon is sick or injured again now are you North? With him and Anton fit that's Neil's favored CB pairing there, plus we have Connolly, Hill (or does he have to return to Forest if there's no injury crisis),and Perone in reserve, plus surely Young or even Derry could play CB at a push I reckon. Perhaps not the best back up in the PL but not a crisis surely! Why are we so fææn pessimistic on here?

With Hall prone to injuries, would it be better to let him go on a free in June? Too much of a liability for my liking

I think we will be letting him go in June for reason not to do with his fitness but either way he will be going.
