QPR defender fancies a move to the Bundesliga to face Bayern Munich and the rest
Rangers team-mate insists Hoops captain has what it takes to become a star in one of the world's great football leagues where his talents would be put to full use

    • Sebastian Polter alerted the QPR captain to his potential playing against or for the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich – and Onuoha’s all for it.
Polter believes the strength and skill of the man with the armband would compliment a league short on both when it comes to defenders.
And the man signed from FSV Mainz in the summer should know – every day he gets a kicking in training from Onuoha, and amazingly, is grateful for it.
Polter believes it’s toughening him up to the ways of the Championship, although the kicker believes it’s a fraction of what happens on any given Saturday.

Fancy some of this, Nedum? Bayern Munich fans fly the flags
“I let him know very early on about what to expect,” said Onuoha. “I may be kicking him in training, but it’s a lot worse come Saturday. If you can’t take it in training, you’re going to be in trouble Saturday.
“He’s a good guy, and he came from a league where they do things differently.
“So the more people that can help him adapt whether it’s kicking him or elbowing him in the face, the better he’ll become – which is what we’re beginning to see.
“I do watch the German league and other foreign leagues, and the football they play so if ever anything like that happened in the future, I’d be up for it.
“Tough and skilled? I’ll take the compliment from him.”

A lot of people don't like Onuoha because he's a crap right-back. At centre-half there aren't many better than him in this league IMO

Bye Ned. Maybe you will lose concentration for them as well. Overrated.

I've never really taken Onuoha my heart. Pretty ambivalent about what he does if I'm honest.

I've always thought his "The Chief" monicker to be somewhat ironic, rather like Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards.

Exactly. Bugger all to it.....as there seems to be to half the stories you read nowadays.

1 small quote gets taken out of context and bigged up into a story that doesn't even exist.....and people read it and get taken in without actually reading it for what it is......tiresome journalism and tiresome headlines.

And I wish people would actually read stories and comprehend what they are taking in a bit more

Onuoha is very strong and very quick. A little limited on the ball, but one of the better centre backs in this league imo. He just shouldn't be played at right back

Non story, but given that his distribution is, shall we say, non existent, I doubt European football would suit him. He's at the right level now.
